Jac...you have no idea the number of times I read your posts and marvel at your honing on areas I leave for the reader to catch and mull over.
**Sigh** this is such a satisfying journey so far. Thank you for being with me.
Aw, my friend, no thanks necessary. 🤗 I'm thrilled to be along for the ride.
Yash testing Aarti is the battle he is waging against his own trust issues. The positive is that his heart recognized her as the person he wants should prove his theory wrong. The crux of the matter is if he cannot trust her, he will never be able to reach her...cause unlike the girls who tried to snare him, this one will try her best to stay away... Yash will have to make up his mind about Aarti early in their acquaintance, otherwise he stands no chance...
On the first bold, I love how you've woven that into Part 11 and made it a natural part of his end of their love story. He's certainly seen something markedly different in Aarti's presence and he wants to be able to trust what he sees. I think I understand where you're going with it as you've said in your last sentence that it comes down to Yash trusting his instincts about the differences he's perceived about her and seizing the moment or else he'll unwittingly lose the chance to have her in his life. On the second bold, so we'll have a love chase! That will be understandable too, given Aarti's own past, and I sense from what you're saying here that her movements in this love chase will help affirm to Yash that his instincts are indeed right about her. I'm excited to see how you continue in Part 12. 😃
