Charisma you do have few valid points that Ansh is just a spirited kid but when he wanted to go to bathroom is ok but the way he did a mess in the bathroom was not ok... he threw everything on the floor. Every toiletery was either on the floor or emptied in the each corner of bathroom. He even used his saving gel and tube to paint on the mirror.. At that time Yash kept his peace and did not let Aarti know about that and just told servant to clean the mess. Aarti also left so many cloths on the bed that also Yash did not say anything to her. He the neat freak let this two new individual invade his space make it a mess because they also had a right to use that space and he simply did not tell anything but did what he had to do to keep his room tidy.
Now If you tell me oh it is ok fora 5 years old boy to behave in a new house in such a way then I am sorry I beg to differ. He wanted to use the bathroom of his new daddy that is ok but the bathroom was being occupied and when he was told to go to another he inisisted that he wants to go there otherwise he will wet the floor right then and there now that is I call pure manipulation and aarti kept on calling him Ansh do not do that. Why in the world she did not take his hand and take him to another bathroom And when Yash came out the smart mouth made a remarks of Yash being naked like him.. Gosh the man was in the bathroom now tell me which 5 years boy talks like that??
I do not mind him to be spirited or witty but he should not be a over smart mouth and tri to put down an elder in front of all.. Yes children are very innocent and they speak the truth without any hesitation but we have to teach them to speak it without hurting any one's feelings and at the proper time.
Yes Aarti is outspoken too and so is Ansh but to teach a child to hold his peace also is important.
The way he put the pin to hurt Yash so that he would not come near to his mom was very dangerous. That cause Yash high fever and he had to take shots for the infection... If by mistake if you ignore those things it could be very dangerous to one's health.
So if you do not teach your child to behave in certian ways then he gets in a habit of having his own ways and could be dangerous to himself too..
So I think little punishment to let the child know that his mom or dad did not like his behavior is good for the child..
But I have said earlie also that what Gayatri did was totally wrong infact where his mother and father are dealing with him she had no right to punish him at all...

Regarding the bold, I think that was added for comedic purposes. Because you're right, no small child will make a comment like that. A lot of viewers were thinking about Gurmeet's attractiveness upon that scene, but an unexpected character actually said something. So there was some comedy in that.

I think a lot of stuff that's added in is exaggerated to a degree, but that's old news when it comes to TV serials.

Yes Meg you are right on that point that it was added for the fun sake and so many of Ansh's dialogues too
And Yes these TV shows do exaggerate..
As which mother will sit crying near the door when her 5 year old kid is locked in the room whole day without food and water... injured and hungry and terrified.. Do you think any mother would listen to the unreasonable demand of the mother in law and let 5 year old kid suffer this traumatic experience???
I would just break the glasses of windows and pull my son out of that room.. If my MIL want to go on hunger strike for that she is welcome to do that... I myself will get her room ready to sit for the fasting.. Man i would not let my son go through all that..
So yes that let spirited outspoken Aarti let her son suffer in that room was out of character of Aarti..
Yes it was great that they show that Aarti did not complain or tell anything to Yash it was the heartbreaking sobs of terrified Ansh which told the story of his terror..
