The common perception is that Pratz is a strong lady who never yields to injustice. This makes some people to view her as a role model. But sadly I hv drawn an altogether different conclusion from the show. Sample this:

1. When Krishna asked her not to work in the office so as to earn money, she simply surrendered and did not even protest. In comparison, when Tanmay forced Arushi to abandon job, she refused to give in to his unjust demand. Here, Arushi emerges as the leading lady and a better icon of women liberalism.hmm in mariage if either one hubby or wifey is angry no need of other to do same aswell no need to fight to other one on same pitch . it kills the love between a couple. yes arushi offended tanmay and chose career over family and u can easily see where her marriage heading. as for pratigya she chose family hubby over career and see somewhere thakurs too respect her and krishna he too love her patience is important and she will get her reward for being patient soon prats will acheiveboth career and hubby love and understanding in one stroke.
2. Pratz has been staying at TN for past 5 years and has seen thakurs commmitting all sort of crimes. Although she protested against such practices on certain occasions but she has never been able to secure justice being delivered to her criminal in-laws. In terms of output, she has been a huge failure as a daughter in law whatever prats did was more than enough on every occassion she atleast raised her voice against wrong doings and sometimes she wins too see kesar in hspital getting treated its always better to stand up for right rather than keeping mum and win no win doesnot matter. .
3. Despite having so many troubles in her own life, she has constantly been intruding into others' territories. Like she interfered in Arushi's personal life by stopping her marriage to Aman. Infact, it was this foolishly handled move that ended up in Arushi marrying KN. Arushi was justified in turning hostile b'coz Pratz failed to produce any conclusive proof of Aman's cheating, in time.lol arushi personal life was not started yet at that point of time and prats was doing it as she knew aman is married and she has done it to protect aman wife marriage plus obviously she knew her sis life is a stake whom she loved a lot she did brought proves but its amans wife fate that she was not able to stand up for her relationship prrats did what any concerned sis will do but arushi her marriage to kn was never justified as before that too in aman case we saw she was geting jealous from her sis and feeling proud that she got educated rich aman and she never listened her elder sis.her choice
4. As a wife, she has been unsuccessful in giving quality time to her hubby. I wud never recommend any wife to follow in her footsteps.😆😆😆😆we r no one to judge her as wife as per her character portrayel and whatever cvs showed us krishna is very happy with her and she is there for krishna whenever he wants
All this only proves that Pratz is not behaving as one wud expect from a lead of women-centric show.

I agree on certain parts of your initial post. Arushi has taken more of a stand on the having a job issue than Pratigya, so yes, maybe Arushi is doing a better job on that front. However, I completely disagree with point no. 3 where you said that Prats unnecessarily stopped Arushi's wedding without proof. I do not think that if you try to save your sister from a someone's trap, it should be considered 'interfering in her personal life'. A sister has enough rights to do that. If you're going to jump in a well, shouldn't your family try to stop you? Pratigya acted in the best of intentions. Her sister mistook it and made bad decisions.

I do agree with some other points, it is a bit disappointing to see that Pratigya's positivity has not managed to change the thinking of anyone in the family except Krishna. Amma, Shakti etc, as still as evil as ever... And I don't foresee any positive changes in the near future.
