Sinister and Stupid Strategies

The plot thickens. Sweet words spoken with hidden malice. Political moves at the expense of one and all who dares to stand in the way of SS's ascendancy to more power in Allahabad. Prof. is now considered non-existent in the home of the girl who worships her father. Prats may get taste of what power in the wrong hands can mean. Her mission to fight for women's issues looks like a day at kindergarten compared to the world she inhabits at the moment, with sinister and selfish agendas. Komal has more guts than the entire Sax family put together.

SS was right to be frustrated about his pig-headed sambhandi who neither has a plan or strategy to handle the situation that guarantees to bring everyone down with him. This was height of stupidity that had no shortage as seen in his daughter today. She was told by SS forcefully at the police station yesterday that she will have no more contact with her maike again, now that the Prof. has decided he wanted to handle matters his way thus risking SS's chances at the elections. Yet she doesn't hesitate to say her family needs her and her father would explain why he chose to say he killed Angad. She takes the cake for a college educated girl with the lowest I.Q. Honestly! She knows the whole story about Angad from the beginning, she has to, bec' she was the one who acted in a way that her family into this this downward spiral since they day she arrived home after graduation. Yet she tries to explain to Guruma that her father is not of sound mind. Great! Favorite daughter suggests that doting Papa is mentally off at the moment. Is that a hint to suggest he needs psych help after all?
The whole family really needs some prof. help.

Amma is licking her chops and salivating as if the rest of her favorite dinner yet to be served. Her favorite bahu's family has been tarnished and she is literarily dancing on the heap. She didn't miss the opportunity to connect the dots about Angad and her attempt to support him when SS and Sakthi talked about finishing him off. Thanks to Piasiya, who reminded Amma and earned her pay not so much do the household chores but to poison Amma's mind against Prats besides making moldy achchar. Amma made sure Krishna was present when she questioned Prats very innocently. The juice she brought Prats could well have been poison but both Krishna and Prats were oblivious to her sinister plans while she stuck a needle in the banana. What a smooth operator!

Prats will never change. She started her usual superiority complex laced "my family needs me in good times and bad. I need to be there for my mummy." Krishna made a good point that her Papa didn't want her help at the police station. But what happened to the man, really?
KRISHNA HAS BEEN TURNED INTO A PET TOY SO PRATS CAN WIND HIM UP TO DANCE TO HER TUNE. VERY DISAPPOINTING! He was ready to take her back to maike but luckily for him, his saving grace was Guruma telling Prats to pay attention to her sasural and go inside with Krishna. Anyone else here think she is going to peck at Krishna over and again and cry a river to make him feel guility for her plight. She is showing her womanly viles yet again which shows she is nothing more than a very weak woman who is still hung up about her maike and gives two cents for her sasural. No wonder they hate her guts.😡

Loved Komal today, who had a few home truths to dish out to her sasural about treating her like the enemy and keeping her out of the loop about Prof. tangle with Angad. She was brilliant when she told the neighbors to each empty their pockets to pay for her sasur's legal payments. 😆E na sahi baat! She had the men leaving in no time.😆
😆

The way Nainaji, Adarsh and Arushi were walking around one would think Prof. had been the one killed. Did they even realize the cold-hearted man Prof. really is? He had cloaked himself with " hum sharif, izzatdar loge hain" bakwas. He didn't think about the rest of his family while trying to save Prats's marriage. Where was this man when she decided to marry Krishna? Why didn't he step up to the plate and stop the wedding? Is he trying to suppress the truth or is he making sure the truth about Angad comes out publicly? His stupid strategy in no way will save Prats's marriage. If anything it's gathering enough steam that it's going to explode like a volcano and burn many people along the way.

A cat may have nine lives. But Prats has had more than that many chances to come clean with Krishna about her family's dealings with Angad. Even today Krishna speculated as to the reason Prof. could have wanted Angad dead and even then all she had time for was flashbacks about the promise she gave her Papa to keep Krishna in the dark. When he asked her "ka kehti ho?" she played dumb. So when the crap hits the fans she has no one to blame but herself. She knows Krishna could and would have handled the matter more effectively than her father's stupid strategies.

Guruma, as usual, was teaching ways SS could make sure his political plans did't go down the drain. She told SS to disown his samandhi and call Angad a good boy. Prats as usual didn't give up her ziddi ways and wanted to go home. Good thing Guruma shut her down and sent her back inside.

Prof. can take the credit for single-handedly ruining his favorite daughter's marriage with his stupid strategies. SS is having Guruma fill his head with sinister strategies to win the elections while Amma with Piasiya's help has her own sinister plots to get revenge on Prats and out of the family if she has any say in it.

The lava is churning inside and the volcanic explosion is to be expected any day now. So watch out! For forewarned is forearmed.

Chalbo, aur bolbo! Ka kehti ho?

Mera, actually today Pratigya seemed bit normal to be a daughter...she wanted to be with her maika in the time of crisis...she was asked to severe the tie. It's hard for any daughter...Understandable.

SS was safeguarding his career. Understandable.

Immediately a question flicked in my mind. How should Pratigya act so that it doesn't harm both the sides? Or should she take only one side? The answer I got was, she hasn't still understood the connection between media perception and the election. She even questioned how does these two connect. Thats why she was thinking about her maika. For her, this election is mattered only to SS, not her. So, why should she worry?

It seemed again both Pratigya and SS were muscling their power at each other via Krishna...Finally SS won by packing up Krishna back to his room.

Bechara Krishna dono ke beech me peis raha hain...

Pratigya's stare at Krishna was telling him 'Why are you standing like this? Answer to your father...you know what I want. If you don't answer, teri meri dosti khatam'

As per his male thought process, his father is right. Sasurji is not accepting help, nor ready to come out. So what's the point in staying there. Instead, he thinks something must be wrong as Sasurji doesn't fit a killer profile.

But when he looks at Pratigya he gets more agitated and worried. She was saying her mother may be in need of her. He understands. But his father is stopping him...

But he is unable to solve neither problems - From Wife and From Father...on top of that, Amma is saying Pratigya favored Angad once upon a time...Krishna ka Dimag dahi ho raha hoga...

I liked today's episode.

You put it so well in a nut shell. The Saxenas think they are better than anyone. love what guruma said to forget them, do you think if SS stop this election would it make any diffrents in the saxenas family. All of the saxenas, has a big EGO problem. Krishna will give his life for this girl and all she is does is thinking of maika. if she be honest and work with krishna life can be so diffrent for them. she needs to learn the meaning of the word friend. she is blind.

I was kind of upset with Krishna, for not taking her to her family. but when think about it why should krishna put up a fight for her when she is not being honest with him.

I agree with you any daughter would be forced to think about her family's well being when they are facing a crisis, she loves her father and would do anything for her family and today her father is in jail while her family is devastated so I can understand her reaction and her desire to stand by her family when she knows they really need her. SS 's reaction was no surprise the man that brought pratigya back home only for political purposes was not about to let anything get in his way. I felt bad for Krishna today he seemed to be stuck between prats and his father, it was nice how he tried to support her though. These characters are not the real problem though guruma seems to be the dangerous one she is willing to do anything and SS is willing to follow whatever she says for political power. amma is also a serious problem now that piyassa has brought up the old incident of angad once again she will not stop until she finds out the complete truth, then she will fulfill her wish of getting rid of prats forever. 😕

I agree with SS, he should continue with the election. He heard the professor is in jail, he went and try to help but was turn down. when krishna beat up angadwa, and took him to the professor home to apologize. Aarushi, told him no one asked him to help, even pratz told kesar that no one asked krishna to help. Sajjan singh, and everyone else should just move on with their life and leave the saxenas alone.

The problem with Prats is that she has USED Krishna for her own agenda. She married him to teach him a lesson. When has she ever done something he wanted to do? She had to be reminded of the little things he did for her before she agreed to go to the movies. She was always giving him grief and notanki about every little situation. Now she thinks that she can ask him to step in and take her to her maike? Even when she started the friendship bakwas it was only a way to escape any kind of intimacy with him. He had to remind her friendships were about sharing their thoughts and feelings. Even there she hid and avoided answering any questions he posed. He almost pinned her like a good defense attorney with some pointed questions about Arushi's running away from home and let her off the hook. She is playing Krishna for a fool and he doesn't see it yet. But he will soon, when his house of cards will fall on him in a jiffy.

Now she is getting a taste of her own medicine from SS. He is using her for his political agenda and to heck with her needs. Someone ought to remind Prats that what goes around comes around in the circle of life. Krishna loves her too much to see her in pain, but SS wouldn't bat an eyelid before he throws her to the curbside if it means he gets his way.

She is doing to him what he preached to the large crowds in Allahabad.....about paan chuna....blah, blah blah. What Prats wants she gets, what Krishna wants who cares? That has been her attitude all along. Amma and Piasiya are waiting like hawks to scoop down and pick up Prats, the prey when the time is right. SS has pretty much with Guruma's blessings told Prats her family doesn't exist anymore and this time all her crying and drama isn't going to let her get her way with Krishna. His wings have been clipped and with SS's logic making sense......Prof. doesn't want to get out of jail, he is going to snoop around to get answer to his curious questions. What he finds out will not be a pretty picture. It is going to destroy him and maybe his love for Prats, almost.

Prof.thinks he is protecting Prats's marriage when in fact he is slowly but surely making sure that their secrets are all blown out of the simmering volcano in a heartbeat. Krishna knows about the first slap Prats gave Angad bec' that's what led him to see her. She recently found out Angad was her kidnapper and she had hid that truth along with Arushi's reasons for running away from home, and her second encounter and slap to Angad, all of it from Krishna who has repeatedly asked her what the problem was and why she hasn't confided in him. When it all spills over, she won't have Krishna's trust, and without trust there is no love. SS will keep her away from her maike, she won't have Krishna following her like a puppy and Amma will be out to get her. She is going to have the toughest times of her life thanks to her Papa and his stupid strategies.

If this show is about women's issues and rights, let's see a realistic scenario of a woman who believes she knows it all but is way off course and the lessons she learns about screwing her own life and those around her with her rigid ways and impractical and illogical approach to life. Now, that would be a lesson worth showing young girls of today.........the perils of thinking she has all the answers to life's problems, flying solo, when in truth she has started and continued to mess up most of the situations to date. I really want to see Prats learn a few life's lessons if this show really is about depicting reality.

Hey Mera:

great job. I love how you always seem to capture the plot of the day with a flair I can relate too.

this entire week since the maha epi has been an extremely boring one.

the sizzle and friction of Kriya is missing. The biggest change for me is Krishna. Something about him seems wrong. it is like your looking at your favourite toy and it seems like somebody has broken and refixed and it is not aligned properly.

Anyways, I wanted to comment yesterday as well but forgot to. so I thought I should drop in comments today.

One thing I have noticed this entire week they have been doing a buildup- a build up to something that I cannot currently guess.

Many of my guesses proved wrong - i.e. I thought SS would give her books as a gift instead he gave her a school, I thought Kriya would not learn about the police incident and SS would convince Prof by hook or by crook to come out and that did not happen either.

Anyways, while I am probably one of the most vocal members against Krishna's change (first the straightened gelled back hair look that makes him look really ugh CV's if your listening I loved his hair in December 10th epi and even the designer jeans and tops he wore back then, the tempered down attitude, seeming loss of sixth sense and the general overtly submissive behaviour) I am trying to understand why they are showing his character this way

from what i have seen in yesterday's and today's epi, it seems krishna is enjoying this time of truce but knows it is temporary and will only last as long as she is happy and is getting quite frustrated with both his father and his FIL for not helping maintain this fragile peace.

I guess the guy is entitled to some peace of mind and fake comfort (aka friendship). that is why we are seeing this tempered attitude and generally submissive behaviour - as long as she asks for something that does not involve her leaving HIM, he concedes, why should he care if her requests bother other people? right? well that's his attitude it seems.

he knows that she and singhs do not really get along and he is prepared to leave with her again if need be. However, what is interesting to note is that while he is acting so concilliatory - his shortness of temper is not gone, there are many scenes where you see the old Krishna i.e. he rubs his forehead in frustration or stress when he feels she is making him go to far in order to get this friendship or when he acts sneaky and uses the friendship to gain her confidences. So I am not totally giving up on the old Krishna. this is a brief respite. The spine will grow back.

Also somebody mentioned Komal is more intelligent that Krishna. I don't think so, I think they both possess a very curious and deductive mind and both know when they are being sold a bill of goods. Komal has already lost Adarsh (in her mind) so she has nothing to lose by asking the questions that come to her mind and vocalizing her doubts and suspicions.

Krishna has just shook hands on a vey delicate friendship pact and the truce is very fragile. barely 3 days old. he has A LOT to lose if he starts asking the questions that come to his mind and vocalizing his doubts and suspicions. he does not have brain fog as we suspected but rather he is giving her the benefit of every doubt. Even today, when mom sowed the seed of doubt, we saw the old krishna but when they came out they presented a united front. he is trying his darndest to maintain the truce. that is the old Krishna. loyal as ever and true to his word. he said he would try to so he is trying.

In my mind Amma is the most distasteful character in that whole house. I usually skip over any scenes that she is in. however, today I was just thrilled when she sowed the seed of doubt. this story needs to progress big time and this FAKE FRAGILE TRUCE needs to end because it is unreasonable. Instead I want Krishna to act as himself, Pratigya and Saxenas to stop hiding inconsequential stuff and any relationship/ friendship should be two-sided.

So things I found funny or ironic:

I could not stop laughing when Krish and all were trying to get him to come out. It was like seeing a kid with a self imposed timeout being bribed to come out all the grownups in the town

amazing that Pratigya who is so principled does not mind when influence is being used to enable her father to escape punishment from a crime. in the absence of proof, for all she knows her father could have committed the crime he confessed, right? So how principled is she? or is it a selective application of principles. well so it seems

Komal was perfect yesterday and today

I fell off my chair when Pratigya agreed to go with Krishna at the first request. beyond baffled. I had to watch the scene again

if SS' spies could inform him about the Prof being in jail then how come the Prof does not realize that any facts given up during interrogation will reach SS' ears and Krishna's. Does he not realize that Miranda Act does not apply in India and that interrogation techniques are severe and merciless - no exceptions for the common man?

Krishna was funny when he did not buy Prof's explanation and said you cannot hit the barking puppy with a pebble you are going to kill someone? that was hilarious. he seemed so irritated all epi yesterday at what he perceives is the Prof's infantile actions. Today he seemed very thoughtful. Generally speaking that is not a good thing for Pratigya or Sax.😆😆.

Pratigya's expressions (when Amma left ) in response to a very perturbed Krishna should clearly how ill-equipped she is to tell him the truth and handle the consequences. I cannot comment on her stance about supporting her maika. seems reasonable but then again she should trust Krishna and his advice. wait a moment - now I'm become delusional - that day will never come.

well those are some of my thoughts for now.

Hope,

I agree with your analysis in regards to Krishna's state of mind. I think he is playing along with this friendship game because he believes that any misunderstanding both of them had has disappeared. He is willing to bypass any hiccups because he wants this truce to remain so he seems a lot more submissive. I too seen times where he has been upset/angry at Pratigya for her lack support. Even at the school scene when he spoke on behalf of Pratigya in regards to how women are treated at home, the look he gave Pratigya for not supporting her FIL showed his anger on his face but did not vocalise the matter.

In regards to todays episode he is already curious and with amma putting her two cents in, his curiousity has increased. Sooner or later the truth will be known.

Pratigya had another chance to tell the truth. I don't understand why she has taken this promise of hiding the truth as gospal and not other advice her parents have said to her in regards to her marriage.
