I agree with your analysis in regards to Krishna's state of mind. I think he is playing along with this friendship game because he believes that any misunderstanding both of them had has disappeared. He is willing to bypass any hiccups because he wants this truce to remain so he seems a lot more submissive. I too seen times where he has been upset/angry at Pratigya for her lack support. Even at the school scene when he spoke on behalf of Pratigya in regards to how women are treated at home, the look he gave Pratigya for not supporting her FIL showed his anger on his face but did not vocalise the matter.

In regards to todays episode he is already curious and with amma putting her two cents in, his curiousity has increased. Sooner or later the truth will be known.

Pratigya had another chance to tell the truth. I don't understand why she has taken this promise of hiding the truth as gospal and not other advice her parents have said to her in regards to her marriage.

starlight:

notice how careful teh CVs are never to show Pratigya categorically and bluntly lying. they are trying to imply that she is actually very principled but under pressure to act contrary to her true nature and ideals because of her familial love. A load of crock.

her father is testifying nd putting his family through torture and significant humiliation including his beloved daughter for a crime he did not commit.

once cannot be held accountable for an accident. he did not drop angad. angad lost his grip and fell. he did not release angad. I do not see how beign shown to accept punishment for a nonsense crime is supposed to make him look principled. it makes him look unworldy and generally foolish.

the CV's are not preserving Pratigya's surreal and inconsistent character rather they are insulting our intelligence

Look at the big fuss she make with krishna, about fake pregnancy, preaching to about telling lies and how it will be when evryone find out. when her father told her not tell krishna, why didn't say just tell her dad no, that look where it got me.

I can empathize with Prof and Nainaji's reasons for not wanting this sham of a marriage to break - people with question their upbringing ultimately, arushi will either marry poorly or not get married at all, adrash too will be affected, dadi will go on a perpetual rant and eat them alive (inspite of her repulstion of krishna she is more repelled by societal shame) . notice none of these reasons involve his beloved daughter's happiness.

I cannot however for the life of me understand Pratigya's reasons for remaining married. Love of her father?????????

\Hope,

The reasons you've given seems more like egoistic and selfish reasons rather than bringing happiness to their daughter.

This professor is one contradictory character he does not want to bring social stigma to his family but he has by admitting his guilt for crime he did not commit and on the other hand he asks his daughter to hide the truth so that her marriage will not break.

I'm still surprised at Adrash remaining quiet. When will he be accountable for his actions on that fateful night? Will Komal find out how involved her husband is in all this mess or what will her reaction be to all this?

Komal will have to be carried kicking and screaming out of the Prof. house this time around. 😆She is sick of everyone thinking she is a pawn in their lives. She has the best chance to take control of her sasural what with every one of them falling apart. She will make sure Prats doesn't get out of her maike with Amma's help.

Adarsh is worthless all around, as a son and husband. What did he do with the hockey stick and chain he took with him? What happened to the knife Angad had around Adarsh's neck? It's not like he had time to fold it and put it away before he fell off the cliff.😛 Did the police secure the crime scene and did they find the knife and shoe prints? They would have noticed three different footprints unless they all had the same type of shoes in the same size as well. We know Angad only wears sandals not shoes. BTW was it the same knife that he used to stab Krishna during their fight?

Star:

bulleye - the reasons are egotistical not paternal

flip flopping like a fish out of water. I hope they give him at least 1 lathi. he might spill the beans at the sight of it. seriously i would nto want any father or innocent person to ever be subject to cruelty, bullies or autocracy but this guy needs shock therapy or something

Adarsh will also spill the beans. notice how Komal ahs taken charge subconciously since their return. the entire family is lost without Socrates. Komal has a natural leadership trait. she is not SS daughter for nothing. this guy will cry soon I am sure. Much as he is angry with her bro. krish is her fav. their bond is very strong. she will tell him if she knows

Hope, Well professor did let go Angad's hand and that is murder, Adarsh could have helped save Anagad, But he wanted to see Angad dead so he is an accomplice to a murder. It would have been an accident had they tried to rescue him.

Now professors pretense that staying in jail might help in hiding the kidnapping issue and save his daughter's marriage is totally wrong, CVs should have come up with a better excuse.

I agree to what you and some others posted regarding Pratigya and Krishna's roll. But the problem is CVs will continue to keep Pratigya principled and innocent. And every one else will dance to her tunes. Pratigya's character is getting less pivotal yet she is impacting every ones life.

See Krishna sees no one beyond her, sole purpose of his life is to get intimate at any cost call it love, but to me its an obsession. The way she treats Krishna, the street smart boy, should have realized by now that he is barking at the wrong tree. Perhaps he loves her and that's why they say that love is blind.

SS was forced to accept her back without an apology from her. His successful election campaign depends that she tags along weather he likes her or not. Even after he wins he won't be able to remove her as some other reason will keep her in their lives.

Professor is willing to sacrifice his entire family's happiness for her in a most stupid and senseless manner. His inability to take appropriate decision is mind boggling, defying his status as a college professor and a father.

I think this is the right time that CVs should untangle the characters of Krishna and Pratigya. Both should be given sensible plot and an opportunity to entertain viewers. Otherwise as you said viewers won't bear this torture for long.
