Like u said, neither Pratigya nor Krishna are ny where close to real life characters but I think many girls in real-life can relate a lot to Pratigya, atleast more than the guys that could ever relate to Krishna!!!
In real-life situation, the guy being a goon and stalker and from a family like SS, would have probably r***d Pratigya right on the wedding night and I'm pretty sure even u would have hated him for that, BUT this being a serial, Krishna did NOT and provided us all with the hope that he is capable of changing or correcting his not-so-grave wrongs!!!
AND I think, some girls are not only forced by their husbands but also by their in-laws to follow their orders, a lot like Kesar!!!
So, just like Krishna's upbringing makes him treat women like pair ki juthis, Pratigya's upbringing makes her treat her in-laws or elders - be it unwanted - with respect and tolerance!!! Besides, I dont think Pratigya blames her in-laws as much as she blames Krishna for ruining her life and future!!!
Pratigya does neither...she does everything for Krishna but sleep with him

so why care......if its a lie its a lie, let Krishna deal with it...

I dont really think Pratigya does everything FOR Krishna - she does enough to follow Krishna's advise and make the family believe that everything is normal between them!!!
The fact that she is modern BUT also cultured/civilized makes her into the emotional person who takes everything in and only talks back when it bcomes untolerable or when its Krishna in front of her who acts all clueless after making her go through all the sufferings!!!
Well, after Krishna being hurt by the knife-wound, Pratigya now knows that no matter wat or how wrong the sons of the Thakurs are, they will never ever blame their beloved sons and Pratigya is SURE that she is the one who will have to suffer the blames of Krishna's lies! So, HOW can she NOT care when its her self-respect on the line bcoz of Krishna's lies???😕
i like more of Komals character in this show because she is who she is and acts it....
hmmm... I think Komal over-reacts and creates blunder out of nothing at all rather than acting her real-self coz I sometimes get the feeling that Komals real-self is actually very nice and innocent!!!
maybe he will or wont rape her but we have seen movies before whre the girl is raped and married and ends up loving the husband in the end...it could happen here too....
I dont think I've ever seen a movie or ny story or situation thats similar to this one but I cant really understand or like the girl who after being r***d falls in love with the r**ist!!! Cant call him a husband who dares to do something as disgusting as r*** his wife!!!

I understand its a serial and only that thought calms me down BUT the Krishna character has been crossing all the lines ever since he decided to be a coward and has been carrying on with the stupid lie!!!
