Unfortuntely I have read around 10 books which are historical romances in which the heroine gets raped by the hero! And after raping her, the girl eventually falls in love with him and the hero somehow in his twisted mind loves her too. Other cases it shows that whilst the hero is raping her, the heroine finds it quite pleasurable! How disgusting is that?!

Yes well, I am a massive historical fiction lover! So as disgusting as it is 🤢, the time and context the books were made in, it was normal for women to be used as sexual objects by men!

To be able to read such books you have to seriously take the context in mind! 😊

I am only trying to say that the books were based on years such as the 1400's - 1500's. During those years, women had no rights!

Now when you read such books, either you can't or you can. I can! because as disgusted as i do get, as a reader of historical books, I have to take the context and period of time into consideration.
