Gauhar Khan says Tanishaa was the driving force behind her victory

'Tanisha was the force behind my victory': Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauhar claims her 'nemesis' inspired her... and that her romance with Kushal will last beyond the cameras

Bigg Boss 7 winner Gauhar Khan might have had the maximum catfights with actress Tanisha Mukherji, but she claims Tanisha was the driving force behind her victory.

Gauhar's stay inside the Bigg Boss house was a rollercoaster ride, but, "it became a pleasurable experience as I finished it opposite Tanisha."

"Winning this show would have lost its meaning had the last finalist opposite me would have been anyone other than Tanisha. We both were strong personalities and equally strong contenders," said Gauhar while chatting with Mail Today, soon after the grand finale.

"The difference of opinion between us was way too rampant, so, I had secretly desired that if I get to be in the final rounds, it should be opposite Tanisha."

Tanisha and Gauhar catfights were one of the favourite topics of the season, and a huge number of Bigg Boss fans who sided with one over the other were amused to see the them tightly hugging when they were the only remaining contestants inside the house, soon after Ajaz Khan was evicted.

"I never had any ill feelings towards her. She is a nice person who was caring towards other housemates, but, for some reasons she had some issues with me which I could never understand.

"Clearly, I was not one of her friends. But, thanks to her judgmental attitude towards me, I remained inspired and energetic to prove her wrong. I guess her comments kept me going," said Gauhar.

She added that the pair may not be friends in the future, but that she will always be cordial towards Tanisha.

The romance that blossomed between Gauhar and Kushal Tandon inside the house also kept her in the news.

"It's unbelievable that I got into a serious relationship in a reality show. I want to discover my relationship with Kushal, who is a lovable person. I do not know what the future of this relationship is but as of now I am in love with the person and that's what matters," adds Gauhar.

Bigg Boss Host Salman Khan received flak for being 'biased' towards contestants Tanisha and Armaan Kohli, and being antagonistic towards Gauhar.

"Just like how the housemates were being judged for their behaviour inside the house, Salman was being judged too. That was the feedback which was received by him," said Gauhar, only to quickly add that Salman is the best host for a show like Bigg Boss and that no one could ever replace him.

"This show is the most unforgettable one. It helped me discover some unknown facts about myself," she added
