Gyan Correa's Gujarati film The Good Road', India's official entry for the 86th Academy Awards, is out of the Oscar race. In a list released by the Academy, 9 films were shortlisted to advance to the next round of voting in the Best Foreign Language Film' category.

The Good Road' was selected ahead of acclaimed films like Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, The Lunch Box, Vishwaroopam (Tamil), English Vinglish and Celluloid (Malayalam).

From the 9 films listed below, 5 will be nominated in the Foreign Language' category.
