No female MD's?

*story begins*

So in my younger days I was in love with this Indian band called Aasma(more so with one of the guys😆)..I know Neeti's with Rahman and Sangeet() gave the music for murder 2(and that too Aa Zara-so fracking hot!)

But I wanted to know what Vasudha was doing..and google uncle told me she's an MD-she worked on obscure movie and now is doing the BG score for another!

And then I tried thinking of female MD's in BW..and could only think of Sneha Khanwalker

Yeah! So basically-

Is there a gender bias in the industry?

Or are women less creative?(This is the wrong answer! Be warned😆)

^^ Hmm..wiki says even Lata dabbled in composing for a bit!

I think singing is the easier way out! Why spend hours composing and trying out different things when you can make money singing! Even most of the male directors end up singing! It's just weird that at present there's not one girl who's making music! Other than the one's on MTV Sound Trippin!

Sneha Khanwalker is pretty amazing! Oye Lucky Lucky Oye and GOW part 1 and 2 had pretty good music. She was nominated for GOW was nominated for best music too. Sadly, she is not getting much work, she had to wait 4 years in between for her next film. Hopefully, she makes more music and inspires female musicians to join BW.
