Kria's sacrifice makes sense to me now

I was pissed off about her giving up the scholarship to London. I was of the opinion that the CVs needn't have shown her making another sacrifice, but now I think what she did is justified.

Today while watching KriYam I suddenly remembered this line I read in a book -"To go forward you must go back and to touch the light you must pass beneath the shadow."

In the book this line is said in a completely different context, but I think it applies here perfectly. The way Kria loves Rey, isn't it obvious that she would never truly be happy if she hadn't come back?

I'm not really sure about what's going on in Kria's mind. What does she hope to achieve? Does she want him back in her life? Does she hope that he'll fall in love with her all over again? And how does she think that's going to happen? Does she plan on telling him the truth at some point?

We do not have the answers to these questions. The only thing we know for sure is that Kria wants to help Rey and her friends achieve their dream of opening up a dance institute.
But from the KriYam convo today, it's clear that she isn't back in St. Louis just for Rey and her friends. She's come back for herself. To let go of her guilt.

What guilt? It's not like she did anything wrong, right? WE know that. Remember her letter to Swayam? She wrote to him about how her mother had got to know her secret and forbidden her from dancing. As far as I remember, she dint let her friends know that she was being forced to leave the college. She wrote "Since there's nothing else for me here, I'm leaving." (something along those lines) So basically, she'd admitted in the letter that only dance mattered to her. Her friends dint. And Rey dint.

All this while I've been pissed off about how Rey and the gang could've believed something so outrageous about Kria. But then, once I got over that and thought from their POV, I felt bad for them. In a way, they must've felt used by her. They must think that for her they were just her team members, not actual friends.
I don't blame Kria for not explaining to them 2 years back why she had to leave. If my parents made me do something like that, I don't think I could get myself to admit it front of my friends. No matter how hurt Kria herself was, she wouldn't want her friends to hate on her mother. But fact hai, in their minds Kria has ditched them. And Kria knows that. And so, she needs this opportunity to mend her relationship with them as much as they need this opportunity to start their dance career.

When Swayam asked you came for Rey , I seriously didnt expect d writers to give it a touch from Kria's side but I am glad they did! Kria came back for herself becoz she doesn't want the things to remain as a mystery forever! I loved dose lines by u n they r apt for the situation.

Kria n d gang both r right from their side.

Loving the way KriYaansh track started.

Actually Ialways found it kinda justified because kria wanted to come in terms with guilt feeling ...according to her she had hurt her friends and rey and wanted to mend it all ...she couldn'thave survived with peace if she had moved forward
and she had always loved rey ...after the episode where she wanted to call rey after her masi's persistence I feel she doesn'tknow about rey's past ...andi rey had always meant he world to her...

Rey's reaction was perfectly.justified ...Istill haven'tforgiven rey but his hatred is acceptable because he doesn'tknow the reality
But Iseriously want kria to burst out on rey when she gets to know about t r

Exactly ji. Kria came back for herself! And the fact that she said that makes her actions justified. It's not a sacrifice, not to her. She needs to do this, for herself.

I agree completely. When she said today, Ki please.. mujhe nahi chaahiye ki koi soche ki mai unpe ehsaan kar rahi hu.. Mai yahaan apne liye aayi hu..
That was when I really fell in love with the CVs. They are giving layers. They are justifying actions. They are giving motives.

Its true that it'd have been foolish for kria to think that she could get rey back just like that.

Its not for him that she is back.. She is here for only three months, to make her life guilt free. To right her wrongs. And to maybe leave them in a better condition this time.

*Though I highly doubt that she'll get to leave this time.*

Like I said, before I just hated the entire St. Louis gang (minus Swayam once I got to know he was in touch with Kria) for believing Kria's lies without a question and for not trying to find her. So I couldn't understand why Kria had to do this for them. Why she was being so selfless. But today I realized that she was doing this for herself too. And I'm happy about that.

But I hope she isn't going to make any other sacrifices. She has come back with an incredible opportunity for them. It's on them to make use of the opportunity and give her the chance to make herself understood.

And I definitely want a strong reaction from Kria (not just an emotional one, but an angry one) about them believing her lies and about Rey moving on so easily.

She lied to them, yes. But they believed her lies VERY easily. They never questioned her. Not once. For that, they must pay too!

'Main apne liye aayi hoon..." that was my favorite part in the episode, after the dance. The mel-milaap was too bitter for me.

Oh, I forgot about the three months part. That just makes it all the more clear that her intention, like you said, is to make her life guilt-free. She's not here to stay (she thinks).

*She won't :) *
