but if mahi's relation with ashima come sout beore that then ira may not stop taunting chotima about it 😆

I think we need to be a little more realistic about joint families. It's not some 18th/19th century type family where responsibility of kids is shared and there's no difference between own kids and jethani/devrani's kids.

People live together yet there is a subtle difference between between one's own kids and others. The way Ira is concerned about Sanchi, she's not that concerned about Mahi. The way Meenu can communicate to Mahi and handle him with just a stern look, it's not the same with Ira or any other member (except Shiv) towards him.

Only some surface level things/duties are "shared". The line between own and cousin exists.

Sanchi is insolent and careless anyway. But she was definitely more possessive of and more scared of Shiv than Mahi. Perhaps she'll stop that now. She won't feel a need for his approval anymore. And will definitely not tolerate Anandi even the bit that she tolerates now.

I don't know if she'll feel more responsibility towards Ira or not. She may even feel that if her so called elders and wise guys were sitting on so many lies then what's the harm in her lying anyway? 😆 She has ulta-pulta mind with twisted way of drawing conclusions.

You never know if she'd use these as excuses to continue with her lame behaviour or blame Anandi for all troubles (unke aane par yeh sab hua) or start blaming both Anandi and Shiv (people who weren't her own, spoiled her life and didn't realise "her pain").

She may even poison Ira's ears against CM-Mahi-Anandi-Shiv telling her they must've trapped their Alok and gotten together to spoil their (Ira and Sanchi's) lives over the years.

She's a crazy girl. She can do anything.

Shiv is mentally too scattered to be even normal again or make sense of his relations anytime soon.

Ira's going to feel doubly ashamed of anything that Sanchi does wrong now, for she doesn't even have Shiv's glory to bask in and console herself that somewhere she's a good mother.

I think things would change ...but not because relationships suddenly got re-arranged.
Things would change because Ira and shiv both feel betrayed and feel a lack of trust. This lack of trust is what will create the changed dynamics.

If daddu were a bit of a 'take charge' character with spine, he would do what is required to set the train back on its tracks. ...and put together the fragmented pieces of his family.

But he is not... and I presume his solution to this huge issue will be to trivialize it by telling anandi to make plates of hot pakodas for everyone and hope it disappears on its own.

perfect...even i feel so
saanchi can never grow up until she herself gets in big trouble that spoils her life forever...i really don't know how can members feel saanchi will be more sensitive towards ira now?...it's saanchi we are talking about 😲
even i don't see how shiv will be back to normal...he seem to have lost his trust over his own family...yes he maybe lucky to have two parents but no matter for what the truth was hidden from him he would find it difficult to believe shekhars and i really don't see how the poor guy will balance his life knowing that ira is not his real mom and unfortunately his real mom stays just under the same roof...

I fully agree with Skepblum on the reality of joint families. Cousin or nephew or niece can not
Replace your own flesh and blood. At least if Shiv was from outside Ira can feel some kind of
Ownership. But now how can she feel that? I dont know how Shiv will feel towards Ira now.
Since he knows his real mother who was always with him. What ever happens could also be for
The good. As hooked mentioned, Sanchi can not bask on the glory of Shiv. She might realize how
her mother Is hurt. She might change and be a good daughter and a child to Ira to make up for
The loss of Shiv. She loves her mother. I am hoping that this incident is a major eye opener for
Sanchi. She might start keeping her distance from Anandi and Shiv and interact with them on a
More formal level. Which is good.

Maybe Mahi will be instrumental to Shiv in erasing some of Shiv's anger towards Meenu for "giving him away" - so to speak.

If the CV's want - they cud use this incident to make Sanchi grow up and realize that she is Ira's only child and Ira is very hurt and feeling very very low and maybe Sanchi cud be a little less selfish and be there for Ira and try to cheer her up.

This wud go a long way in making Ira feel she has a sensible daughter even if she went a little astray for a while. and that she as a mother - has not lost it all.

well said. would love to see these things from mahi n sanchi.

but if sanchi remains the same old sanchi, she might end up hurting everyone indirectly. like maybe in a burst of anger with shiv she might say something of the sort that ur not my real bro or smthng.
