I think the law is the same. Even in Malaysia rightfully the consent of the first wife or wifes must be obtained before taking another but most of the time they dont and marry the second, third or fourth secretly... Because no wife wants to have a souten

u right but still there are some countries That man doesnt need to marry second wife secretly
And dont be shocked Coz still some ShiriNe dilshad case exist who doesnt mind to have souten

yes u are right That was the case in the Times of the prophet
But islam and quran are for anytime and everywhere
And when Allah gave them this right he already know about the upcomming cases and generationn
But he didnt limit it financially and only for support financial support he let it oppen
So if man
Wana marry 4 and he Has ability to take care of them so he def CAN Marry even though if women are independent and rich
this is a man right and me as a muslim girl cant take this right from them
But what really some people ignore is That islam yes allow to marry 4 but put a set up of conditions wich make things not easy for m'en to marry
And when we talk about treating them equally its means EQUALLY in every sense of the meaning of this words
And even if man love or prefer one more and this is a heart matter we cant do nothing for it but he should show them the same care give them the same importance
Allah penalize for everything evetything even in the term of money

The thing is, it's something that is not encouraged only allowed because of those very reasons. I don't believe Allah left it open for men to marry more than one woman just because they feel like it. There has to be a legit valid reasoning for it, just like there were during the times of the Prophet(PBUH). Yes those are the conditions, he needs to be able to provide and take care of each equally, but like i said there should be a valid reason.

It's only a man's right as long as he doesn't abuse that given right, and as a muslim women if we are wedded to the man who wants to marry more than one we are given the right to object to it and divorce.

But if u think That Allah only limit it in the financial case That i m sorry to say no its not the case
I m muslim too and i do know my religion very well and i know whats written on quran
And quran being for anytime and islam keeping in mind the flexibility of the law but still quran didnt mention the limit of marriage make me believe That not to marry for just for helping them financial
But its women nature and not all the women That cant handle polygamy and cant accept to have sautan
Btw there are Many cases for m'en who make them marry more than one

Look at this
There are some men by nature need more than one wife and their wives have no problem with polygamy
Monogamy is not just a theory and is thoroughly practiced, so no more men were allowed to cheat on their wives. Do you think for that group of people- who never naturally get satisfied by one wife- Monogamy is a solution and is sufficient?
There are women who have no problem in marrying a man already having a wife especially if a marriage is in their interest.
The majority of society are women keeping in mind that:

o Marriage age of puberty mostly begins earlier in girls than in boys.

o The power of proliferation of women ceases at a certain age, after which pregnancy is very rare case, whereas there is no such fixed age for men.
In this case where no enough men, do we tell those women just disregard your emotion and desire or just abuse yourself through unlawful acts like being Homosexual.
And the precondition That islam put in polygamy are
-Wife to have no objection and if she Has she CAN easily ask for divorce wich is her RIGHT d no one CAN take this right from her
-Equittable treatement for all wives
-and number not to exceed 4
Thats it so i cant really add anything else just Coz i m a girl and i dont Like this fact
When Allah made all this he thought of everything and every situation
People Like u and me(i assume) who want to be the only wife of her husband ,Allah made it clear That we CAN divorce so i cant even disccus things wich are take for granted
But still there are some girls who doesnt mind to marry man who is already married though they are rich and they dont need financial support so who are us to ask them to not marry!!!!
