Let's just compile all her recent interviews here. There are so many coming out.
Creations from Bebo's Press Conference:
Some excerpts from her TOI interview.
I love the fact that I make spelling mistakes with him. And he will say, 'Bebo, that's not the way.' I recently pronounced the word 'quintessential' wrong. He told me, 'Darling, you can't make statements in public when you don't know the meaning of the word.' I said, 'Sorry' and he said, 'You are so glamorous and beautiful, so just smile but don't use words you don't know the meaning of.' 😆 I will keep saying 'I depicted this work to somebody.' He will tell me, 'You assign work and not depict work.' So he's like that and loves correcting me. I always ask him if I have to say something.

Explain 'traditionally upfront'?
I respect tradition a lot. My father is a Punjabi, my mother, a practising Christian and I am married to a Muslim. I have been brought up by my mother as a Christian, but I equally celebrate Diwali and now respect the Muslim culture. I am just blessed to have the best parents and be part of such a contemporary world.

Saif and you make a beautiful couple. While you seem to be a happy-go-lucky person, he is aristocratic and perfect. What binds your relationship as people?
Saif is not perfect and is, in fact, very imperfect and it is his imperfection that makes him so sexy and charming and lovable. He is a combination of everything. I love the fact that I make spelling mistakes with him. And he will say, 'Bebo, that's not the way.' I recently pronounced the word 'quintessential' wrong. He told me, 'Darling, you can't make statements in public when you don't know the meaning of the word.' I said, 'Sorry' and he said, 'You are so glamorous and beautiful, so just smile but don't use words you don't know the meaning of.' I will keep saying 'I depicted this work to somebody.' He will tell me, 'You assign work and not depict work.' So he's like that and loves correcting me. I always ask him if I have to say something. 😆
And that's the way it should be. Our relationship is pretty equal and while he doesn't control me, he calls the shots. We are both very rooted and have been brought up in a similar manner. We are very modern and at the same time are very traditional and know our roots. That is the core and the binding factor of our relationship. It's beautiful and the best part is that he is my best friend. I can talk to him about anything and he will give me the best advice. Nobody should ever have a conversation (errr debate?) with Saif. He is too bright. He may lose the argument with you when it comes to films or Bollywood collections, but you cannot win a battle with him on any other topic. He is the mature factor in my life.

Any childhood memories with Ranbir?
He is a year-and-a-half younger to me and we would stay together when we would go to Chembur as kids. My first holiday to Kashmir was with Chintu uncle, Ranbir and Riddhima, when he was shooting for a film with Juhi Chawla there. I was nine at that time and remember the shikaras and running around the Oberoi Palace hotel, as we stayed there. We were most excited as Rishi Kapoor was a big star at that time and it was great. I am so happy that Ranbir is doing so well. I am the worst sister as I am the only person who has not seen Barfi. Thanks to Mr Saif Ali Khan, while I act in films, I don't see them

===========================================================================

Here's her wackiest best. Remember that reporter last time who asked her "Aap double se tripple kab hone waali hain?" (aka when do you plan to have kids?) He returns in this conference and Bebo recognizes him 😆
Other than that, slaps Punit till he falls off his chair, reveals that Punit had a "thing" with Isha Gupta from Dhat Tere Ki 😆

She arrives at 4:00 into the video and instantly complains about turning off the AC coz it's so cold

Love makes my world go round', Kareena Kapoor tells t2
Kareena Kapoor at Taj Bengal. Picture: Rashbehari Das

My trips to Calcutta are always so hectic that I can never make time to go around the city. I so wanted to visit Saif's favourite place here, the Tollygunge Club," smiled Kareena Kapoor as t2 sat down for a chat in the Oriental Room at Taj Bengal on Monday evening.

In town on a whirlwind trip to promote her Friday film Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, Mrs Saif Ali Khan chatted about films, family and being Kareena.

Pssst: Guess the three Bengali words Kareena, the foodie, has learnt after becoming Sharmila Tagore's daughter-in-law? "Machher jhol, mishti doi and (pauses) aloo posto!"

You've said in the past how you love shooting films but detest the process of promoting and marketing them. Has that changed?

No! I am just not at all a big fan of this whole promotion business. It just gets too strenuous. Honestly, I don't understand why we need to market a film so much. When I came in, promotions used to happen, but not on this scale. Yet, films used to do well. If your film is good, people will anyway watch it; if it isn't, then no matter how much you market it, no one will come for it.

Gori Tere Pyaar Mein comes across as this fun love story. What is it about the film that hooked you?

Well, I really liked the fact that this is a very sweet romantic comedy... the kind that you have in Hollywood. The kind of films that Meg Ryan would do. Throughout my career, I have been associated with a lot of romance and comedy. Jab We Met will always figure as a major film in my career and that was a romantic comedy. I have also done a lot of serious and intense films, but I haven't done something like Gori Tere Pyaar Mein which is fun and frothy and yet comes with a message and has its serious moments. It's the kind of film that you can watch over a tub of popcorn and yet you will think long about it even after you leave the movie hall.

You had said that there was a lot of Kareena in Geet from Jab We Met. How much of Kareena do we get to see in Dia of Gori Tere Pyaar Mein?

Dia is a social activist who is a girl of today and she feels strongly about a lot of issues. She's very socially inclined and will probably be the first one to start off a protest if she believes strongly about it. In real life, I may not actively voice my support for issues, but I do feel strongly about issues that plague our country like anti-corruption and women's rights. Also, Dia is very much in love with Imran's character (Sriram) and even for me, love makes the world go round (smiles).

How has it been reuniting with Imran after Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu. That was a platonic love story, but do we see sparks fly between you two in this film?

Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu was a special film that showed that a Bollywood heroine didn't really have to end up with the hero... she could say no' if she wanted to (smiles). I think that film changed a lot of perceptions. But in Gori Tere Pyaar Mein, we have gone with what the conventional audience likes... the hero and heroine end up together. I think Imran and I work well together as a pair. In this film, there is nothing erotic or very passionate and yet you can feel the chemistry between us. Even Saif thinks that Imran and I look good together (smiles).

Imran and you are good friends off screen. How much does a sense of comfort with your co-star dictate your choice of films?

I generally don't like signing films just on the basis of who my co-actor is. It's always dictated by how much I want to be a part of it. Of course, it does help when you have an already formed equation with your co-star because you don't have to spend time breaking the ice and you are kind of familiar with what he will be like. But for this film, my choice was dictated entirely by the script, especially by the second half when the action shifts completely to a village set-up. It's something I have never done before.

You've worked with a lot of directors. What does a Punit Malhotra, in his second film, bring in that maybe a Prakash Jha, who you just worked with in Satyagraha, doesn't?

The freshness, I think. Yes, you are right when you say that I have worked with many first-timers, whether it was Shakun (Batra, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu), Rensil D'Silva (Kurbaan)... I have worked with experienced directors like Raju Hirani (3 Idiots) and Imtiaz (Ali, Jab We Met), but at the same time, I have worked with new ones. They bring in newness in terms of ideas and are always willing to experiment. I am not saying that the experienced directors don't, but the new ones are a little more enthusiastic, I guess(smiles).

Saif's Bullett Raja releases the Friday after your film. Are you two getting to see each other at all?

(Laughs) Right now, we are getting to see very little of each other. We are in different cities all the time. But we live together and that's the best part, because we both have to go home at some point (laughs out loud). But honestly, I make it a point to take out time for Saif and he does too. We love travelling and visiting new places and right after our films release, we are off on vacation. I won't work for a month after this and I will spend it all travelling. It's a very integral part of who I am... this urge to visit new places.

You celebrated a year of marriage last month. Is marriage all that you hoped it would be?

Yes... and more (smiles). But honestly, marriage is just a tag. At the end of the day, it's all about two people loving each other enough to want to spend their lives together. Nothing else matters. For me, love is what makes marriage work and it's made mine work (smiles).

Work wise, you've been as active after marriage as you were before. But how do people in the industry now perceive you... for example, do only a certain kind of roles come your way?

Honestly, I really don't get it... this whole thing of married actresses (shrugs). I am very unconventional and modern in my outlook and people have learnt to treat me that way. Being in love, living in or getting married isn't a crime, come on! (Laughs) I think the industry has far greater things on its mind than being worried about whether I am married or not! (Smiles) As far as people's perception about my saleability or whatever is concerned, I have just been as busy, thank god and I have been getting fabulous offers. Acting is in my DNA, it's something that my family and I have done for generations. No one can take that away from me.

Finally, when do we get to see you and cousin Ranbir together on screen?

(Smiles) I really don't know. It has to be a film that both of us are excited about and ticks a lot of boxes. Ranbir is very talented and I am sure an opportunity will present itself sometime in future. Of course, the choices are really narrowed down because we can't play each other's love interest! (Smiles).

On Deepika's Newfound Success
It comes towards the end.
She's asked how she feels seeing Deepika on a cover saying "Queen of Bollywood" does she feel the competition?

"No, I cant always be the only one. It's nice to share the platform with people and it's fine. These things change. A few years ago it was someone else, then I had my share of covers, 5 years from now, it'll be someone else. It's the circle of life."

And here's another interview.

MUMBAI, India

She's full of energy at our rendezvous at the Dharma Productions office. Kareena Kapoor Khan chats up her new film "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein" and etcetera matters with India-West. Excerpts from an interview:

Q: Imran Khan says that the chemistry between you is natural and organic and that he would rather have it with you than anyone else.

A: That's a compliment! Well, right from the time of our last film together, "Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu," we hit it off from the word "go." Imran is different from most stars. He is slightly "angrez" and probably that's why we get along, because in that aspect he resembles my husband (Saif Ali Khan). He is extremely chivalrous and entertaining too, and less "filmi." We can also converse on so many topics and, usually, we never discuss films, which is what is refreshing. With Saif too, it's the same story.

Q: You play an activist out to set society right in "Gori Tere Pyaar Mein." How different is your role really from that in "Satyagraha?"

A: Very different. My character here demonstrates the difference between the Karan Johar and Prakash Jha sensibilities! Here the girl is cute, sings and dances, and at the same time thinks that cleaning up the nation is her personal headache. She is, in fact, slightly mad.

Q: Would you agree that you have an attraction to slightly mad characters?

A: Yeah, maybe I am partial to them!

Q: Any regrets for turning down "Ram-Leela?"

A: None, yaar. I have turned down so many films and I cannot think about how well some of them did! I have my own share of hits, God has been too kind and I thank Him every day!

Q: Coming back to social aspects, what would you say irks you in real life?

A: That no one in our country takes the laws seriously. When politicians themselves are breaking laws all the time, what can we expect and whom should we follow as leaders? It is very important to vote for the right people.

I also feel that something is wrong with the functioning of our democracy. And that's because the basic tenet of every democracy is equality. In India, there is gross inequality everywhere. Equal rights must prevail and there should be greater emphasis on healthcare and social security.

Q: Wherein is the solution?

A: Probably in a temporary dictatorship to clean up the country!

Q: What is your contribution to social causes?

A: I am a part of my mother (Babita Kapoor)'s work for orphans as well as the aged. Saif and I are also supporting an eye hospital in his town.

Q: As an actress over 14 years, what is the kind of movie you would want to take up now?

A: Anything that excites me! I love my role in the Dev Benegal film being produced by Farhan Akhtar. Karan Malhotra's "Shuddhi," too, is a great script and Hrithik Roshan and I are back together.

When I reach 60, I would like to have at least one "Bridges of Madison County" level film to my name! (Smiles). Besides, as we see from the way Rishi (Kapoor) uncle's career is going, ultimately, it is the actors who survive, not stars.

Q: You have this yen for special song cameos. What do you enjoy about them?

A: Oh, I do most of them for friends! But I prefer the not-too-choreographed kind of songs.

Q: How much is your creative involvement in Saif Ali Khan's home productions?

A: (Smiles broadly) Zero! We do not interfere in each others' work at all and right now he does not even know where I am and what I am doing. Our lives are just not about films. At home, films are the last thing on our agenda " we never discuss them.

Q: What did you think of his "Go Goa Gone?"

A: I liked the first half.

Q: So in a nutshell, what is Kareena Kapoor Khan like?

A: Oh, I am the coolest person on earth! 😆 🤗

Last time peopel said there was no buzz for Satyagraha, it would get a 5.5 crore opening.
It opened to 11.5 crores first day.

Just wait for the film. Buzz doesn't necesarrily have to be only online.

How is she done when she got films with Hrithik and Farhan Akthar. Not being no1, doesn't mean you are finished.

And she is going to sign more films and she isn't going anywhere
