It's not like Bebo hasn't tried her luck at getting critical acclaim. Some people are acting as if Bebo only does commercial films. Heroine she def did to get critical acclaim..yes it wasn't her best performance but she still got critical acclaim ..many critics said she was the saving grace of the film.

If PC had Barfi..bebo had Talaash and Heroine. Yes Barfi was more of a challenging role..but truth be told..both performances were appreciated.

^^ Agree bebo! But GGG was a very good effort by Saif and team, I hope there's more movies like that made in Bollywood. 😳

About being Boxoffice queen, Kareena was the undisputed queen for many many years. So many actresses would have multiple hits in any one year, and Bebo would drop by with one blockbuster/hit and steal the thunder right beneath their feet. 😛

and so what if she is in the biggest BB? was she even used as a showpiece? LOL- she had nothing going in her favor there- no song, dance, looks, chemistry- nothing! just an added baggage!

I don't think an actress does commercial cinema because she excels in it. 😆 one does those movies because those are the movies the masses watch, the same masses which make her popular, which gets her brands and all the moolah.

And talking about Krrish she did pretty much the same thing Kareena does in her Khan movies. And Katrina in every movie. No big deal.

Also I think she was just fine in Don, Dostana, Agneepath which were commercial movies.

^ Kareena's role in Bodyguard was much better than what PC got in K3 or even Agneepath for that matter. In Agneepath Kat was talked more than PC..in K3 Kangan was appreciated more. And from Ra.One bebo got hit songs like Chamak Challo and Criminal. PC didn't even get a hit item song in K3.

So I disagree..Bebo got a lot better deal in Bodyguard and Ra.One than PC got in K3 or even Agneepath and Don 2 for that matter. Chamak Challo craze was huge..and bebo benefit hugely from that. I think it's because of Chamak Challo success that Salman approached her for Fevicol se!

Well it must hurt to see Deepika giving 4 author backed roles and hit back to back this year,n many hits with Saif where as in her whole career Kareena can count with her fingers how many author backed roles she has done.

Kareena might count on her fingers how many author backed roles she has done ..but most of those roles weren't average performances that Deepika has delivered. omkara, JWM, Chameli..all won her awards..lets see which one of the so called author backed role Deepika did will win her an award. And if does..it would just be one..since she already lost on winning one for Cocktail.

Am pretty sure Kareena won't feel hurt by DP's average performances in so called author backed role lol..because Bebo has delivered better performances than Deepika can ever wish for. 😃

Isn't it funny though, that Kareena was supposed to star in three of the movies that Deepika did this year.. Race 2, Chennai Express, Ram leela.

Funny how she rejected those superhits which fell in Deepika jholi and she went on to do damp squib like Satyagraha and the stale looking GTPM.

Yes 13 yrs , 3 movies still raved about by fans ,One iconic. Kareena's best movie..Oh JWM.

As far as awards are concerned wasn't it you Beboholic who said awards don't mean the acting done in the movie was good,when I listed out the awards Vidya got for her one role in Kahaani. At that time you said awards aren't a proof that a role was convincing done by an actor. Now you are counting Kareena's awards?? Yet no National awards for Kareena?? 😆

As far as performances, Kareena is not that good an actress like she is made out in this forum by her fans. Her acting range has hardly improved proportionally with the years she has been here. From awful annoying now she is bearable at the very most. 😆 Only fans will describe their idols as mind blowing etc like I do for Vidya or Ranbir or Ranveer.
