On topic: The directors should know how to end a tragedy. I liked how Habib Faisal ended his movie. Talking about Ishaqzaade. I didn't feel pity for Parma and Zoya as Habib ended the movie differently.

Happy Ending always. Only movie with a not so happy ending which I liked was Titanic.

Tragic endings don't do well @ BO so producers kinda tweak the endings in a lot script/films to cater to a larger audience ... loved loved loved Lootera's ending, one of the finest in recent times ... HDDCS wasn't really a tragic ending it was expected keeping Indian sentiments in mind ...
