As for the above-mentioned ambiguous comment about puzzle pieces, I meant that I might have been able to figure how the events will unfold in the next couple episodes. And, before I continue with my predictions, I express my hope that the CV's won't drag this track for too long, because there's only a certain amount of angst that you can take before reaching breaking point.
A veiled woman was seen mixing something of questionable nature in the milk intended for Jodha. The identity of the woman is yet to be revealed for most of her face was obscured behind a black burqa. All we saw were her eyes. There have been speculations that the woman is Bakshi Bano, Jalal's sister and Sherrif-ud-din's wife. Her mannerisms did seem to suggest so. And, the motives are there too. She would follow her good-for-nothing husband through thick and thin. If he says, "Jump!", she asks, "How high?" And, she would also evade suspicion, being Jalal's beloved sister. So, Sherrif-ud-din would escape unscathed from the whole affair. But, one thing doesn't settle too well in this way too convenient supposition. Surely Bakshi Bano wouldn't want any harm to befall her sister-in-law, for whom she has held nothing but respect and love? So, I do not think she would knowingly support her husband in such a heinous and tortuous plan. But, who knows, some people do some crazy stuff for the ones they love.
We are privy to the information that Jodha did not commit any adultery AND Jalal did not impregnate her. So, there's only one viable option left. It's a misdiagnosis. I was too disbelieving of the spoiler that Sherrif-ud-din had been behind this shrewd conspiracy in light of the inaccuracy of most of the spoilers. But, today's episode changed my mind. Bakshi Bano's ostensible involvement does seem to point fingers at Sherrif-ud-din. Some concoction is being mixed with the beverages that Jodha has been drinking, be it the juice that led to her fainting spell, or the milk. It's something that evokes symptoms similar to pregnancy.
And, generally, when a doctor says something, we tend to take it at face value rather than ruminate over the finer details. So, Jalal can't really be blamed for not trusting Jodha. It's the verdict of a professional and a tangible (but, non-existent) proof of Jodha's promiscuity against Jodha's denial of any such dishonorable action on her part. Jalal couldn't possibly believe Jodha, because he knows that he had never slept with her. So, where did this baby materialize from? Obviously, anyone in his position would jump to the same conclusions. On the other hand, Jodha knows that she is innocent of something that she considers the violation of her Rajputani pride and righteousness, and the marriage vows of any wife. She can account for all nights except the fateful one in the tent, the majority of which she was drifting through unconsciousness. So, where did this baby materialize from?
Anyway, Salima tasted the milk and I think this one apparently inconsequential action of hers would be the key to eradicating this misunderstanding. I think she too would show signs of being pregnant and reveal everything about the presence she felt in the kitchen and the milk she tasted to Jalal. Jalal would save the day. But, meanwhile, Jodha will face another onslaught of accusations from her beloved Ammijaan. It looked like Maham Anga let the news slip and made sure that it reached the rumor vine. However, like I said, Jalal will save the day.
