If she's fine with herself wearing what she's wearing right now, we shouldn't object.

Nope, its not about being intelligent.....its about being presentable....works on a clients mind....as they say, first impression is the last impression......😊

and yes, I dont doubt that durgesh is exptremely intelligent who has the right attitude to teach the srivastava's the right lesson!!!

a lot of her decisions were good but still she needs to give employees a choice and not impose on them... bujt i still beleive that chach, lassi and nimbu paani are a better choice than soft drinks...

I would agree to some extend with the starter of this thread. DN is the boss of all those people but not their health expert. She can stop her employees from wasting time in the cafetaria but introducing Lassi and Chaajh in place of Tea/Coffee is over the top. It should be employees preference to choose their beverages😛 after all they are adults not kids.

DN could give them choices of Lassi, Chaajh along with Tea, Coffee served to their desk. That way she can avoid being bossy and also control employees wasting away their time in cafetaria.

May be it's just me but I am of the belief that people should dress keeping the place and time in mind. One would look out of place in the swimming pool wearing an Indian attire and same way DN looks out of place wearing same kind of dress everywhere. Kshitij can have someone to help her with her work attire. Changing her style of clothing won't change her strong values and opinion.

You're right but people have their own way of dressing up. She's from a small village and I don't think that to adjust there she should change her clothing... Everyone has their own style. For me it's not following someone else's but creating your own.

For me, it's not about what others wear or what's the fashion, it's all about what I feel more comfortable in. Remember, this has been her attire for more than a couple decades. She can't change it like that.

Also, I am sure she'll feel awkward wearing all that she has never worn before. She has to be confident and what she wears. It'll really look bad if she wears anything following the fashion and be apprehensive and lose her confidence.

You're right, it'll look strange to go in a swimming pool wearing Indian clothes but you don't have to go there if you can't wear western clothes, right? But here she has to take on this responsibility. She has no choice but she has choice of clinging to her habits and style.

@Naina: I understand your views but I still think thatt Kshitij could coach her a bit. It is really sad to see her face the corporate world without zilch knowledge about it. Presentation is a major aspect but I guess now thte focus is mainly on how she wins over the staff. DN am sure is in for a major makeover ala Jassi but not right now.

I still stick to my views on Lassi & Tea though😃.

👏👏👏 Exactly my sentiments!! there is absolutely no doubts that Lassi, Chach and nimbu Paani are better health wise but as Maya says, she is not their health expert!!!!

but yes, she can give them a choice!!!that would be the best solution!!!

yeah Naina, u r right....she will not be comfortable in the city clothes now but then she needs grooming.....just to be sure that u r dressed according to the environment u r in!!!

but yes she will take time and I am sure writers have some plan to change her attire in the near future ....and again either the woman in her office (do we know her name???) or Kshitij will help her do that!!!! so,u c, she too will realise in teh period of time the requirement to change and groom!!!!
