OS - Teri Deewani
This OS is based partly on ongoing current track and rest is by my own.
The night was different today. Jodha sat in front of mirror, all lost in the thoughts of events that had taken place in the
past few days..and especially today.
As she removed her jewelry slowly,,she slipped back into the Flashback.. Tears rolled down her eyes..remembering all the events that
happened.
A one whole week had passed after they had returned from Amer. She had cried inconsolably each moment from that day on.
But the worst day had been the day, when they returned from Amer.
As if the thought of the terrifying night was not enough, the strong demand of changing her religion to Islam added to her miseries
and pains.
Her hardships had reached their peak during this one whole week. That day, She had almost gone numbed by struggling with her thoughts.
How on Earth would she be able to tackle this "Religion change" issue..when her mind was already preoccupied with the thoughts of "what happened"
at that night. Did she lose what she never wanted to?
Why did he do that?
And before she could confront him, He had asked her to stay in her chamber alone forever..not to come out at any cost.
He had restricted everyone to not to go and meet her. She was supposed to spend her time alone in her room from that day on.
Jodha had almost lost it. She couldnt believe that Shahenshah could take such steps.
Is he not satisfied by taking away my pride..that he still wants to torture me? She had thought the whole week..
And the worst part was, She had spent the whole week alone in her chamber due to his strict orders..She couldnt even meet her Ameri friends.
Maham Anga had sent away Moti for one week..to do some urgent work..But obviously her motto was to keep Jodha all alone..
At night time, Jalal would come in her room..
Jodha was terrified when he had come for the first time...Least did she know..that he would daily spend his night in her room..
* First night, after they returned to Agra*
Jodha sat in a corner of the room, crying profusely...Cursing her luck for all the things happening to her..
Jalal entered her chamber and saw her..
He could definitely understand her situation.. He had not allowed anyone to meet her..
But there was a reason behind it..So he kept mum and straight went to couch to sleep..
Jodha was hell-shocked to see him in her chamber..
She got up from where she was sitting.. And came face to face with Jalal..
She retorted - WHy the hell have you come in my chamber..How can you?? This is not Amer right!! Go from here..
Jalal did not utter a word and kept looking at her..
She continued.. (after thinking for sometime) - DO whatever you want to do .. I am ready for the religion change.. I am ready to die if you want..
But please tell me.. Did you do anything to me last night..please I beg Shahenshah.. Tell me..
Jalal looked at her with surprise.. He kept mum and laid down on couch..
Jodha dropped down on ground.. Her mind was beginning to blast with the flood of thoughts.
She got up and went back to her bed.. thinking its of no use to ask him..

Whole week had passed by like this.. She would spend her whole day alone in the chamber..an at night He would come..utter no word..
and sleep..
But Jodha had blurted out all her hardships to him..Each night she would try to say something that would angry him..SO that..
He may say something..
The second night..she had said -- Ab to hum Agra aa gaye haina.. to jaaiye na Ruqaiya Begum ke paas..yahan kyon hain..
abhi bhi lagta hai humse man nahi bhara..and she did the most unexpected..She removed her dupatta and offered herself to him..
Jalal was hell-shocked at this action of hers..
He couldnt control his anger..and clenched his fists..He shouted loudly - JODHA BEGUM... Aapki himmat kaise hui aisi baat karne ki..
Before he would lose it totally, he took her dupatta, covered her with it and slowly went back to couch..

Third night she had used another sharp sting.. She had said - Aapko bahut khushi ho rahi hogi na.. Jo kam aap karna chahte the..
Vo in maulviyon ne kar diya..Aap bhi chahte the ki Hum apna dharm badal dein..aur lijiye..Maulviyon ne pehle hi ye maang rakh di..
Jalal's temper rose but again he didnt utter any word.

Jodha was so surprised from his behaviour.. SHe had not left any point to sting him..But he would never retort back..
She had almost gone mad in this whole week..
But today..the events that took place today changed her world upside down.. She was in such a condition..that She could barely meet her eyes with herself.
TOday morning, She had decided to run away from the palace..for she couldnt take the loneliness anymore..Her monotonous world was giving up..
She felt breathless in her chambers.. Specially..when She would have no company the whole day..and at nights..He would haunt her with his silence..
Today she had thought - I would not run away by hiding..I will run away in front of everyone..So that,,even if I get caught,..He may order death sentence..
And thats what I want..
She came out of her chambers althought he had restricted it. She straight went to Diwaan-e-Khaas (with the aim of mocking at him in front of everyone..and then running away)..
She knew..that whole week ..The issue of religion change was being discussed in Diwaan-e-Khaas..
As soon as she peeped in the ongoing discussions..She was flabbergasted..
The maulvis and the prophets were full in rage and demanding her religion change..
They said - Shahenshah..We have discussed alot in one whole week..We dont want any other discussion..The verdict is final..
Jodha Begum has to change her religion..
Jalal lost it and got up from his throne in a second. He shouted at his best - Bas !! Ek aur lavz nahi..Bahut hua..
Jodha Begum ke khilaf hum ek aur shabd nahi sunenge..Hum hi pagal the..jo pichle ek hafte se aap logo ko pyaar se samjhane ki koshish kar rahe the..
Lekin aaj aap logo ne humare sabr ka baandh tod diya..JODHA BEGUM KA DHARM PARIVARTAN NAHI HOGA..
Ye humara aakri faisla hai.. Agar kisi ne iske khilaf jaane ki himakat ki,..to hum uska sir kalam kar denge..
Jodha stood stunned at her place..Still trying to gulp down what she just heard..
She immediately went back to her chamber.
She could hardly walk after returning to her room. She dropped down on ground..
Her mind hassled up with the flood of thoughts..But that was not all..
Suddenly Moti came in her room..
She was breathless and tried..and Jodha was so happy to see her..
Jodha hugged Moti and asked - Where were you moti? I missed you and needed you so much..
Moti said - Its not the time of this conversation Jodha..Maham Anga had knowingly sent me out..But first you listen to me ..
See what you have done to yourself.. See your condition..
Listen.. Shahenshah had not done anything to you that night Jodha.. HE had not even touched you that way..
He was so tensed from your condition.. He called me immediately and asked me to change your clothes..
Infact, he had gone out of the tent when I helped you..
When he came back, he wrapped up the shawls around you ..
He rubbed your hands and feet continuosly..He asked me to do the same..
Jodha your condition improved only because of him.. He was very tensed about you..
But still he did not break his promise..
Whole night he woke up..so that you dont have any difficulty..
So please stop thinking that he betrayed your trust..Alright..Now I need to go immediately..
I'll see you later..
Also,, Salima Begum just told me..that he has not allowed anyone to meet you..because he doesnt believe anyone..
He fears..anyone may harm due to the ongoing issues..
And Moti left...
As if the words she just heard at Diwaan-e-Khaas were not enough..Moti added to her shocks..

The words she heard at Diwaan-e-Khaas from Jalal and Moti's words rang in her mind continuosly.
She was disgusted from herself. She felt so low. She had been so narrow-minded about everyone..Specially Jalal..
Whole week she had taunted him..humiliated him to peaks.. But yet he did not say anything..
He had only cared for her whole week..
he had kept mum in front of her allegations and humiliation..
He is so great..and I am so low... he didnt break my trust..Yet I continuously hated him for no reasons...
HE came to me every night so that I was safe..
Hey Devi ma! What have I done.. I dont deserve to be his wife.. I have gone so low.. I cannot even meet my eyes.
I'll never forgive myself..
As she still continued to remove her jewelry..She heard some sound and she knew it was him...
She turned round and saw him standing at the gate..smiling at her..
Jodha could not control her smile and started walking towards him..
" Heere moti main na chahoon.. Main to chahoon sangam tera..
Main to teri..Saiyan..Tu hai mera..
Saiyan...Saiyan...
SHe reached to him with tearful eyes...
And hugged him..with utter happiness..
"Tu jo choole pyaar se...
Aaram se mar jaaoon..
aaja chanda baahon mein..
Tujh mein hi gum ho jaaoon main..
Tere naam mein kho jaaoon..main..
Saiiyaann..Saiyaan..."
As she tried to tighten her hug..He vanished..
SHe immediately saw around and found no one..
She smiled at her foolishness...
Today, when she had realised her mistakes..rather unforgivable mistakes..When she needed him the most..
He was not there..
She realised it was her hallucination..and ran out of her chamber..in order to find him..
Today she was mad..mad for him..
She ran in the curtains of hallways..corridors..garden..to search for the source of light.in this dark night..
Suddenly in the garden she striked with him..
"Mera din khushi se jhoome..gaayein Raatein..
Pal pal mujhe dubaye..jaate jaate..
Tujhe jeet jeet jaarun..
Tujhe praan pran vaaroon..
Teri aarti utarun..
Tere naam se jude hain..saare waadey..
Saiyaann..Saiyaan.."
She came out of her hallucination..when Jalal came from behind and asked in serious tone - Jodha BEgum aap yahan..
Humnein aapko aapke kaksh se bahar aane ke liye mana kiya tha na..
Aap jaaiye apne kaksh mein..bahut raat ho gayi hai..Hum bhi aa rahe hain..
And he turned to leave from there..
Jodha held his hand.. and looked at him with tearful and "seeking forgiveness" eyes..
Jalal was so shocked..that he couldnt believe this..
Jodha hugged him with utmost passion..
" Ye naram naram nasha hai..badhta jaaye..
koi pyar se ghungatiya..deta uthaye...
ab bawra hua man..
jag ho gaya hai roshan..
HO GAYI HAI TERI JOGAN (meaning, I am yours now)
Koi prem ki pujaran ..madir sajaye..
Saiyaaannn..Saiyaaannn..."
Jalal was surprised beyond extent..
No doubt he wanted to comfort her from her pains and hardships..But she had not given him any chance to justify himself.
He had grown used to her allegations..but today he saw a DIFFERENT JODHA..
He could understand her eyes..
He hugged her back with the same passion as the night continued...
