Thuppakki Remake Release Date 10th jan 14

Producer Vipul Shah, has announced the release date of his next movie with Akshay Kumar. Starring the 'Rowdy Jodi' Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha, the movie is an official remake of Tamil Rs 100 crore Plus worldwide blockbuster titled Thuppakki. The movie will release on 10th January 2014 and is being directed by the Ghajini fame, A.R. Murugadoss.

Thuppakki, a slick big budget movie, starred Tamil superstar Vijay with Kajal Agarwal (Singham, Special Chabbis fame). Interestingly, Murugadoss' Tamil directorial Ramanna, will also be remade by Akshay Kumar.

Coming to the 'Rowdy Jodi' starrer, well, the movie has been tentatively titled as Pistol, however the official title is yet to be finalized. Nevertheless, with power-pack jodi of Murugadoss and Khiladi Kumar one can expect it to be 2014's First 100 crore club entrant. What do you think?

The original had Vidyut Jamwal in it right? They should take him again! He plays the evil guy so well. But then again, I wouldn't look at the hero if he was standing in the same frame.
