The moment Deepali saw RK walking through the door a huge smiled crossed her face and in excitement without realising she jumped up from her seat. Adi and Anjali also noticed RK and were about to shout his name when Madhu and him collided and fell. They all stared at the as they both shared their eye lock to which Deepali was fuming. She was about to interrupt them to gain their attention when all of sudden they both stood up pointing their index finger at each other shouting...

"Chashmish!"

Everyone was taken aback. Did they hear right? Did Madhu really just call him Rishu'? RK never really liked anyone call him by his name let alone Rishu'! Only Daadu and Daadi called him Rishabh but never anything else than that.

"Only God can save her now" thought Deepali with an evil smile as she remembered that one time she called him Rishabh and God did he humiliate her like something that also in front of the whole film unit. But all her evil thoughts were washed away as the very next second they both had a huge smile on their faces. As if this was not enough for Deepali to digest the next thing she knew was RK hugging Madhu...Tightly!!

As RK immediately hugged her she also moved her arms around his neck and hugged him with equal force. As they pulled apart they had a wide grin across their cheerful faces.

"Chashmish...ehh..." he was left blank. He never expected to meet her and that too this different, he really needed to find something to say. "Chashmish... what are you doing here? And when did you come? How are you?"

"Wait you guys know each other?" interrupted Roma which was the question of everyone standing there. Madhu and RK both looked around to find all eyes on them. They had totally forgotten that there were other people also in the room.

"Ummm, well yes...Rishu and I were both in the same High School...the same class."

"Me and Chash...I mean Madhu were really good friends...until I had to suddenly come back to India due to which we lost contact."

"So you two are childhood friends!" said Adi in amazement.

"Madhu Di...you have to tell us about your school years! Superstar never shares them!" said Anjali who was equally exited.

"Di?"

"Superstar?" they both said together and looked at each other.

"Oh, come on Chashmish...everyone knows I am The Superstar RK'!"

"Well I don't! Chipmunk! I don't watch Bollywood and now I certainly won't! "She said firing back.

"Hey! You can't call me Chipmunk anymore! I have lost a lot of weight. Look..." he said proudly showing off his body. He really did look attractive now.

"Same to you...in case you haven't noticed yet...I don't have glasses anymore...which means you can't call me Chashmish anymore..." Madhu replied sharply. Hey both were fighting like two-year olds.

Everyone was smiling looking at their behaviour...it was new to everyone...since Madhu had arrived they did not see behaving like this and the same for RK. They all have known him for years now but never was he this childish...this open.

"Yh, Yh I can see...now will you kindly tell me what you are doing here at the Malik residence?

Before Madhu could answer, her phone interrupted her...

"Sh*t! I am meat today...excuse me please..." she said as she moved away to the side.

"Hi...Mukund" she answered nervously

"WHAT IS THIS MADHU? WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" Mukund shouted from the other end.

"Hey, calm down...I know I didn't tell you but please don't get angry"

"I am not angry just worried...ok just tell me where you are...I am coming to pick you up..."

The next thing he knew was Madhu laughing... "Hey what's so funny? Tell me where you are?" Madhu calmed herself down...she knew she had to tell him.

"Mukund I am in Mumbai..."

"You are where?"

"Mumbai..."

"Madhu, what are you doing there!! And why so suddenly? You know since morning I have been trying to contact you...your maid, driver all refused to tell me where you are...even Priya!! You didn't even contact me! Didn't you find it important to inform me even once? And why Mumbai out of all destinations?"

"I am sorry Mukund but I knew if I told you...you wouldn't let me go...you know na..that my family lives here and Maa wanted me to come here and live with them so..." she had no clue how to explain all this to Mukund, but she knew he would understand.

"Ok Madhu tell me when you are coming back?" he knew her inside out so it wasn't hard for him to know why she had done this.

"I don't know yet, Mukund..."

"And what about your incomplete designs? They need to be finished somehow..."

"Please Mukund manage that somehow."

"Alright...Madhu how are you getting along there... Do you want me to come?"

"Don't worry about me...I am totally fine and having fun here too. You know they all are so loving and caring here."

"And what about you and your Dad?" he said nervously. Mukund knew that she didn't like the mention of her Dad.

"I don't know which Dad you are talking about..." she replied sternly. He got his answer with that.

"Ok Madhu...you sure you don't want me to come?"

"Yes. You concentrate on the work there...will talk to you later...Bye"

"I will miss you..." he said sadly

"Me too..."

"Bye. Take care." Saying that he hung up the phone. Gosh when will this girl understand my feeling towards her?'

She went back where everyone was sitting laughing and chatting away; she was about to take her seat when the maid came to inform them that dinner is ready. All seated themselves around the dining table with Madhu again sitting in between Adi and Anjali but this time RK sat opposite to her rather than Deepali. She just seated herself right next to him. After a few minutes of silence finally RK broke out...

"So Madhu what do you do now?"

"Am a fashion designer" she replied proudly.

"Heh...You and fashion sense. Hard to digest" He said mockingly.

"For your information I am one of the best...I have designed for many big branches and have had numerous fashion shows."

"Will you two also pay attention to others sitting here?" said Deepali in frustration to break their comfy talking. Madhu knowing RK made her dislike her even more now.

"Angel...you still angry?" He asked Anjali

"Duh...can't you tell?"

"I know I have been postponing our meet up for days now...so tomorrow I am all yours!" A smile immediately crossed Anjali's face.

"Really? No shoot?"

"Yep...I am staying over tonight and will be the whole day with you tomorrow"

"Thank you sooo much Superstar..."

As they all finished their dinner Roma, Rohan, Daadu and Daadi all left for their respective rooms leaving the kids behind who just could not stop talking. Madhu also had a few small monosyllable answer conversations whit Trishna. They all seemed to enjoy themselves except Deepali of course. She only wanted RK to herself but jealousy kept crawling into her brain seeing Madhu and RK so close. Trishna left after a while followed by Adi and Deepali.

After like an hour Anjali who was now feeling sleepy also excused herself leaving behind RK and Madhu...

"Do you also want to go to sleep?" RK asked concerned. Adi had told him that Madhu only arrived today so she must be worn out.

"If you want you can go...I think I will be awake for a few more hours...I don't feel sleepy...I think because of the time difference."

"Oh ok then I'll stay here with you...coffee?" Madhu nodded with a smile.

"Ok you go outside...I catch you up." Madhu again nodded and slowly moved outside. She liked the cool breeze as it brushed her delicate skin. She sat herself on the bench and within two minutes Rishabh came with two mugs of coffee.

"Here you go...two spoons of sugar." He said as he sat himself next to her.

"You remembered?" said an amazed Madhu.

"Of course...sweetheart" he said teasingly with his killer smirk. Madhu playfully punched him on this arm which, well...was really muscular.

The next few minutes passed by in silence. As RK turned to face her...all he could see was those big eyes where the spark seemed to be missing.

"Madhu..." he said sipping his coffee.

"Hmmm..."

"How's Padmini Aunty? Really miss her hand made food..."

"Me too..." He instantly turned his head...just to find Madhu looking up the sky trying to hold back her tears.

"Sorry, I didn't know..." he said as he placed one hand around her shoulder to give her comfort; Madhu needed it...so she too rested her head on his shoulder. It felt good.

"She passed away a week ago...brain tumour." She said opening up to him with tears now flowing.

"shhh..." he was never good at consoling someone.. "So how did you come here...to Malik residence?" he said trying to forget that topic.

"Maa wanted me to go and live with my family so that I am not alone...so I came here...this is my Daadu's house."

"Ohh..." he didn't question further...just wanted to live that moment with his Cashmish...
