The Scene: Dean tells Kevin he's
family
Justyna Kubica: You know, I was
trying to remember when exactly I got
so attached to Kevin and I honestly
can't. He's quite a fascinating
character in a way that he's very
interesting, has his own story and
purpose, he's definitely someone you
want to root for and also, it appears
that he can sneak up on you and
make you simply like the guy. So, I
think I never realized how important
Kevin has become over the years
(it's been years already?) right till
this scene where Dean tells him he's
part of the family. And what a great
thing to hear, especially for someone
so lost, lonely and damaged like
Kevin. He thinks he's completely
alone in this world, without his mom
by his side and here he finds out
he's truly one of the team, a family
member. It's a very beautiful speech
from Dean, as always perfectly acted
by the amazing Jensen Ackles. A
very emotional, but also warm,
positive moment on a show so dark
and painful at times. Easily one of my
favorites this week.
Sylvie C: Dean tells Kevin he's a part
of his family and he would die for
him. Jensen is amazing in those
emotional scenes and he nailed it
again.
