saw the episode again (on TV) to make sure I wasn't missing something that others saw. To me it seems like a typical Mars vs Venus scenario. If you look at things from Zoya's POV (BTW, pay attention to SJ's expressions in every scene because they say more than her words), then to me it's still clear that she was disappointed that he didn't take her home. Initially when Dadi stopped him and he made Ayaan the excuse for stopping by, Zoya was pissed. In reality, she wanted him to say the truth but he didn't. That's why that journey to Ayaan's room was so tedious because she was still upset with him. Later, she sat across from him because they were not on the 'same page' Then like a typical woman, she gave him mixed signals- why she couldn't come outside and then she asked him to make the decision for her (this is where she went wrong) She expected him to say 'chalo ghar chalte hain' Instead he asked her to stay back. That's when we saw the hurt expressions on her face (BTW, excellent emoting by SJ in that scene)- she told him that Ayaan has enough people at home and how long would she need to stay? Asad, like a typical man, did not catch on that clue that she really wanted to leave.

Also, Asad's perception was clouded by the slight resentment he was feeling (the photo etc) Then when Ayaan coughed and Zoya attended to him, Asad couldn't take it anymore. He left. Zoya was heartbroken to see him leave. She watched him leave even though she was holding Ayaan's hand.

Then of course she ran to return his phone and then the hug. Even after the hug when he replied he would be back, Zoya's face fell as she was hoping that he would just take her home at that point

It's the same situation like before their confession. They give mixed signals and get disappointed when the other party doesn't 'understand' them. I feel the hug will be a BIG factor going forward. This might give Asad the necessary impetus to take action and not wait passively.

we show two dresses to our husbands and ask him to choose one...though we already have in our mind which one to wear...but we just want some reinforcement form our husband and choose the one which we like most between them...😆

we get happy if they choose our preferred and get pissed when they chose the other one😆 andit later case we try to make them change their decision with our clues .😆

and women will be same in trivial issues or big ones😆

Yes, I am very tired of Asad's passiveness. Time for some action but guess he will land in jail. Unless, the CVs change track and that spoiler is now history.
