but people with gadgets dont seem to do much work.. sit and relax...

It depends on how you see it. While modernization has saved us from churning, picking and plucking processes, I believe it was a necessity but do we really have to be lazy blaming the technology? Think a day without your usual accessories: blender, computer, oven. Try living in the old age perhaps then laziness would be history for those who blame technology. Fatmah, well-said.
Only with the advance of technology have we come together. I see many positive effects of technology. As far as washing clothes and dishes ad making our own aataa, we had invented labour to do that for us anyway, especially in the developing countries, where it is prevalent in spite of the technology.
If everyone only walked, forget countries, even states would never have been united the way they are. Tchnology rocks.
It is only our attitude that makes us lazy with comfort.

If we have all these luxuries that means we have time to work on other things to bring our community up but if people waste the time then it's bad but those kind of people would waste time even without all those luxuries so I don't think that these things have done anything bad for people!
