Modern living has made ppl lazy and unhealthy.

We have cars to drive us around, washing machines to wash our clothes while we relax and other machines.

in't this making us all lazy and unhealthy?

what r ur thoughts?

Well Mishu, that all depends on the people. If we have all these luxuries that means we have time to work on other things to bring our community up but if people waste the time then it's bad but those kind of people would waste time even without all those luxuries so I don't think that these things have done anything bad for people!

first we invent all types of gadgets to save time (for whatever reason) and to make our daily tasks easier...

then we invent more gadgets and try to find time so we can work out... 😕

lolz, i agree...we have invented so many new and modern things for our own conveinece, yet have become to dependent on these things that we have put our health at risk.

yes, most of the things invented have made life a whole lot easier ex. washing machine....but,for exampl, using the car for a small distance, has made us lazy....

good topic btw!

If time is saved by using these gadgets like cars & machines, that time can be used for something more usefull...like art, education, music, books, IF (LOL). But don't skip the workouts & excercise to keep yourself healthy enough to use those machines.

Everything has its advantages & disadvantages. But its upto humans if they think the disadvan. are more than advant. 👏

😆 good one !!! In the U.S where obesity is a major health problem , you see that you don't need to move from your haunches at all . From your office seat to your car seat to your living room couch . There are "drive thru " windows for every damn thing - whether its the ATM machine , food or drug store !!!

Machines are a great thing for people !! But sometimes it makes us forget to exercise !!😕
Now we need to use pedometers to make sure we are taking enough number of steps during the day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It depends on how you see it. While modernization has saved us from churning, picking and plucking processes, I believe it was a necessity but do we really have to be lazy blaming the technology? Think a day without your usual accessories: blender, computer, oven. Try living in the old age perhaps then laziness would be history for those who blame technology. If you want to be healthy, switch to healthy foods, good thinking, exercise and have a loving attitude. These elements are enough to lead a life time...
Thanks!!

Best wishes,
Fatmah

That's true....it all depends on the person. I have 2 cars and 3 drivers (my dad, sister and brother) but I ride my bike to work (1. for excercise, and 2. I want to manage on my own). People do tend to get lazy and resort to machines and mechanism to do their dirty work for them. Again, in a way it does make life easier and less stressfull, but hey........that's life.
