I dont get why these guys are fuming. The Lunchbox was produced by NDFC which also produced The Good Road. Anurag and KJo came in later when they felt The Lunchbox has a chance at Oscars glory.

Ok I have heard of producers sending their films to Oscars independently. Cant they do the same for The Lunchbox if they are so confident?

^ they should do that. In all of this, I feel tiny bit BAD for Irfan Khan, but I must give it to him. He has never complained, not last yr, not this yr. If the film has been so well received in the Intl Arena, then why not? Send it over. It only seems fair that it gets recognition as well. In all honesty, I do not see "Good Road" getting picked, it does not have the exposure nor the familiarity. Also the film was received with mixed reviews.
