Yes I do think I made the mistake of thinking Shaitan was a Bebo fan cz of all the praises that person wrote for Bebo. Secondly its not te first time Shaitan wrote shit about Emraan...this person has done it before and did it again today. Hence I decided to give it back to him/her

Deepika Agrees to Star Opposite Emraan after Kareena's Refusal

Kareena Kapoor refused Karan Johar's home production opposite Emraan Hashmi because she felt he was not a big enough star. Deepika Padukone has now signed on in the said role, read on to find out why.

Kareena's loss seems to have become Deepika Padukone's gain as the latter is all set to star in Ekta Kapoor-Karan Johar's next venture starring Emraan Hashmi in the lead role. It has been reported that Kareena walked out of the film because she was uncomfortable working opposite Emraan, who has become hot box-office property after starring in critically acclaimed films such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbai, The Dirty Picture and more recently in Shanghai. However, it seems Deepika has no qualms working opposite Emraan.

"It is strange Kareena was not happy with her role. She also told Ekta and Karan that her wedding would be around the same time they wanted to start shooting for the film. It is a heroine-oriented film and Emraan is not the mainstay of the project so everyone was surprised that Kareena turned it down. However, when Deepika was offered the project she was very excited and agreed to do it a couple of days before boarding a flight to Turkey, where she is currently shooting for Race 2," a source close to the film, which is produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and Ekta Kapoor's Balaji films told an Indian tabloid.

While Kareena may have used the excuse of her wedding dates to weed herself out of the film, buzz is that it was working opposite Emraan, who she thinks is not in the same league as the Khans, was the real issue.

Rumor has it that after Kareena heard that Deepika had signed the film, the actress began sending feelers to Karan and Ekta that she had changed her mind and would manage to "fit in a few dates" for the film. However, it was too late by then because Deepika had already been finalized as the lead and Ekta and Karan thought it would be unprofessional on their part to dump Deepika in favor of Kareena, especially after she came to their aid when Kareena had turned down the film.

Reportedly, producers Ekta and Karan were convinced that Deepika would do as much justice to the role as Kareena would have. Deepika, who will be seen next opposite Kareena's beau Saif Ali Khan in their upcoming film Cocktail, is said to be very excited about the film opposite Emraan. The film, which is untitled for now, is apparently a women centric film and is an urban take on love - it is quirky, edgy and dramatic. It is directed by debutant director Akshay Roy, who has already begun working on the film.

This is exactly why I wanted Emraan to leave the film now that Kareena needs it so much and that's all there was to it. Once again, I'm not Emraan's fan. The problem is Kareena fan's go whack if there's even a hint of criticism of their Diva and it creates a huge snowball effect. Just go back and read the topics around here during Heroine's release and then they try to blame other's by calling them trolls and haters instead of just accepting that people can have different opinions.

And in the midst of all this, I think Kareena needed some support in this topic, NOT Emraan.

The only reason Emraan got criticized at all, WAS to counter the random overdose of dissing at Bebo. It's only natural to kinda back off and say, "now wait a min," if someone is uphailing one person to the skies and making the other look like shit.

Naturally, some members came in and tried to balance that view. I dont see how that should project onto Kareena, Emraan OR their fans?

And Abbey, really tbh...no one directly said anything against Emraan's fans. In fact you were the first one who quoted Shaitan and labeled "dumb Kareena fan" without really realizing the whole situation.

Fact is you and others were supporting his/her comments against Emraan by liking it. So obviously the retaliation came for all Bebo fans as I would assume by your LIKE that you abide by his/her statements.

^^ Ramleela is ready to be released and Badtammeez Dil is not going on the floors for another 6 months or so. How could the dates of the two movies shooting have clashed?

There were many other articles of the same nature. Her wedding dates didn't change but she got dates for the shooting the moment Deepika was being considered for the movie? Fishy. Now obviously fans will not believe things which show their favorites in a negative light. But, the dots were too closely lined up for me personally to think that Kareena initially thought she was too good for Emraan. IMO.
