I live in New Zealand and have done most of my life. But yes I am Sri Lankan by birth, so yes I am from the sub continent! I used to watch Bollywood movies as a kid coz my Mum was into it. She went to university in India in the 70's and has a strong bond with Indian culture. So my Hindi is pretty good too.

But I am new to Indian TV. My first Indian TV show was the Gul Khan produced Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon! I watched QH coz I am a fan of Gul. (Not KSG, whom I have only seen in QH, but now I like him). So these turn of events with "bride loaning" is even more disappointing for me! I have not watched the last few episodes of QH. But may catch up just to see how Vikrant acts in this phase of the show. I have become his fan! :) No offence to Rishab fans, but I don't think he could have emoted to the right level for the current track! Maybe one reason Gul did not introduce ZOYAAN earlier in the piece.

I just love your posts and think you have a great sense of humour! You are a fan of Gossip-girl? I have never followed that series, but I am a huge fan of Sex and the City.
