Ather Habib, who played Shaurya in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, has bid adieu to the show. He gave his last shot for the show on Sunday.
Apparently Athar is keen to move on and try his hand in films. He has already made his mark in the Punjabi film industry. Ather used to play brother to Akshara (Hina Khan) in the show that has been on-air for more than five years. Sources said the ambience on the sets was emotional. Most affected was Aman Sharama, who plays Anshu, was a bundle of emotions. "He cried for almost three hours," said a source.
When we called up Ather, he refused to divulge the details.When prodded more, he said, "Yes, I am no longer a part of the show. I cherished the journey till date."
