U missing the point here you actually going comparing doctors to this degree?See htis is honorary doctorate given to people who excel in their field,no doesnt matter if he is illiterate you know why cuz he is a actor its his job to act and earn money Ok.

Coming to doctors beinf compared to him LOL why make such big fuss about doctor working 12 hour,yeah they do cuz I am myself student of same profession,and they do so by choice,everyone before entering their knows in what they getting into.So this whole thing is pointless.

ACTOR=ACTS,doesnt have to be a MD.

Vedu Bhaiya...it has nothing to do with studies...but rather exceling in a field...Its to honor the person because they contributed to something...In case of Aamir...its Cinema...It is a very common practice and Aamir is not the first one or the last one to receive it...You can look at it as an award...if u want to...Its a common notion that hard work is only required in studies...which is completely wrong...If a person excels in any fiels...whether its academics, arts, sports...in Amir's case Cinema(art)...it is due to a lot of hard work and knowledge...Do u think that a surgeon is capable of delivering a 3Idiots...any more than Aamir is capable of delivering a baby?? No field needs to be looked down upon...The amount of knowledge that Amir has about the specifics of cinema...the amount of hard work he puts in and the talent he has...is deserving of a doctorate...same is true for Shahrukh, Ab Sr. or any other star..
