Sushant Singh Rajput, who has made a successful transition from television to films, feels that the industry is still not ready to accept TV actors. And that€™s the reason why he says, his girlfriend Ankita Lokhande lost out on Farah Khan€™s Happy New Year.
€œI am one of the lucky few who managed to change the image I had on television. But it is sad how some filmmakers treat TV artistes. On a positive note, I feel things are changing. I got to experiment a lot right in my first year in the film industry. So I am sure things will change for TV actors as the industry is slowly becoming more receptive. As for Ankita, now she is all set to enter the industry and I look forward to sharing screen space with her as my leading lady. She is talented and there is no reason why she can€™t do well on the big screen,€ he says.
