New to this show, have watched just two episodes till now, July 30 & Aug 1.

The Ramayan track which I saw in these two episodes was rather unique. 😆

I know the show is DKDM & NOT Ramayan, so it's natural for Lord Shiv & Maa Parvati to make their presence felt in their own show, still, Shiv-Shakti getting involved in virtually every incident of Ramayan, don't know what to say. 😕

All you DKDM fans, don't get mad at me. Just that, all the Ramayans, Vedas, Upnishads, all the Puranas, nowhere I find Lord Shiva & Maa Parvati acting as the directors of the events of Ramayan the way they are portrayed here.

But then, if it's making all DKDM fans happy, I guess it's good.

Still, quite unique.

Will try to watch more episodes. 😊

Yeah ...This is unique Ramayan because of this is Mahadev centric show.

You can know many new stories which all are unheard.

That dosen't mean that all are fiction but it is from different versions of Ramayan.

They are showing relation between Ram & shiva & THAT'S WHY "MAHADEV KE RAM"...!!

There is big research team behind all this & they are working very hard to search & set all stories in sequence.

In future, you can also show , " MAHADEV KE KRISHNA "😆

Well Watch the real DKDM the best phases of the show is from the beginning of 18th Dec 2012 one of the best epi's of DKDM and right through the Sati/Parvati era until the birth of Ganesh and his beheading the best moments of the show. This year the show went haywire from March if u ask me.
The Jalandhar track of Mahadev was the only track which did well for the show this year and now many changes the young Ganesh had to grow up and we all miss the younger one who was very charismatic in the role.
The actress Parvati got changed 3 weeks back from Sonarika to the new face Pooja and now Ramayan track I hear though I don't watch much of it is that it is completely from Mahadev's POV where he is part of every scene and event. Not many are warming up to it and the result is the fluctuating TRP.

This is about Mahadev ke Ram. Not Valmiki ke Ram.

And by the time we reach the end, we will find it has become Mahadev hain Ram

We all know that saying, Book is always better than the movie...Ramayan will awalys remain Ramayan..but here is creatives team own interpretation of it, one that fits their leads also..

Yeah, we are all thinking the same thing right now. But for them they have to bring prominence to Mahadev. So it has taken this route - Mahadev Road.

It is like, if Ramayan is a locality, then the different Ramayans are like roads. Valmiki Margam is the Main Road, Tulasi Marg, Kamban Salai, etc are the different roads.😆 And now these ppl have paved a new Mahadev Street!😆

Yes, it is true that this is a different interpretation and it is from Mahadev's POV. He is the hero and Parvati is the heroine. So of course both are involved in every stage of Ramayan. But what I am enjoying is seeing some flashbacks (as I never saw those episodes) and Sita's character which is so vivacious and lively.

Surya, I like your analogy of different paths. Very funny.

i agree with u.. they were the best of best tracks...

i am not watching DKDM.. now.. just cant get over sonarika.. and not willing to watch the new entries...😭

If u are not to stuck with religious beliefs than maybe this version can just be taken down easily.
It is entertainment show with mythological characters just think like that.
Some good lessons by Mahadev and that is it.
We have been debating about the stories for along time now does not matter anymore here just to be part of discussions which is more fun. Not watching the show much.
