Ovi was so desperate to have arjun and when she had him she ws not able to mend her relationship properly,she is a confused soul and mind i didnt understand her becoz her character ws potrayed as no less than a vamp though i agree she ws nice to purvi sometimes that dosent mean she ws changed completely her behaviour ws always the same -stubborn and snobbish

I give Arjun a lot of credit for even trying to forgive Ovi and move on with her for the sake of appearances! He is indeed an extremely forgiving person that he could forgive Ovi, as he didnt even love her in the first place!

Agree with u Pallavi. Its not just about being with the person that actually WANTED you... but how that person got you.

The means will never justify the end! The hook and crook can never justify "SHE WANTED ME". When the hook and crook means that your loved one was ripped from you, YOUR feelings and emotions were not taken into consideration, then I dont know what else I can expect from that person. At the end of the day, the man was NOT taken into consideration. It was selfish reasons that the person wanted him - for herself! "Me, me, me" was all she could have thought of... and if something else happens in the future and she had to think of HER or the man - there is no guarantee she would choose the man. Selfish love is never good... and there is no guarantee it can work when one person resents the other for taking their love away and the other wants undivided attention that NO man can give!

Ovi is a spoiled girl , No doubt in that, She always WANTED to have what she liked! And even she always got what she wanted. Its just nobody can buy a person's feelings and thats exactly what happened in Arjun-Ovi's case... I have always seen that she changes with time, If good happens to her, she becomes good and if worse happens to her , she becomes bad.. This shows her immature attitude ofcourse, she is immature...

But now when she is understanding the things happening around her may be , she is becoming a lil mature.. But still I expect nothing form this girl! 🤢

Well, it appears that Ovi has reformed after all! She has matured as I was expecting this time. She has been thru a lot and that has changed her. Actually the CVs decided to redeem her character as shes leaving the show.😆

So shes been shown to leave Mumbai for Canada after the divorce and shes even wishing good luck and happiness to ArVi! 😲😃 Now thats some reformation! 👏

I hope SBS is not lying and this is what is going to happen!

Di but the person I loved left me in the blink of a eye at the altar in this situation. How do u forgive that? And why would you? This is based upon the PR scenario, and so I wouldn't think this person took me from my true love. If that person who left me was my true love... Why and HOW could they leave me just like that... And that too on the absolute last moment? And for the sake of their mom who never asked for such a scrafice? I think true love fights no matter what. If that person loved me, they would have never ever given into the hook/crook person. That's love. So for me, I couldn't forgive the person who left me at the altar. It's a slap on my face and as a female of the Indian community its a huge slap on my fathers face. It's biggest humiltion and you know sensitive respect and honor is in Indian lives.

It's very sticky situation. I'm happy I'm not in such drama but if I ever were I'd stay with the one who loved me.

If I may add my two cents worth here, I think both women were not thinking right. Purvi was consumed by her love for and gratitude towards Archana. Ovi was consumed by her obsessive love for Arjun. However, Arjun did not have to yield. He could have spoken to Ovi as a true friend and asked her how they could possibly be happy given his mad love for Purvi. He could have spoken to Purvi and explained that giving in to Ovi's stupid proposal was not the way to resolve the situation. However, he did not do that. Instead, he blindly followed Purvi's lead. Forget Purvi or Ovi, Arjun should find it tough to forgive himself in this regard. And he made that amply clear when he told Purvi that he was at fault for complying with her wishes. When you love a person, you accept them with their flaws and foibles, Arjun always knew Purvi's loyalty towards and love for Archana had been the guiding force of her love. If she had refused Ovi's proposal and married Arjun, she would not be the person he fell in love with. What attracted Arjun most to Purvi was this ability to give and to put the other before herself. So, where is the question of hating Purvi for what she did?

On Ovi, I would agree with Pallavi. Ovi had manipulated Purvi's weakness in her favour and got Arjun for herself. Unless a man likes feeling like a commodity to be bargained over, I don't see how Ovi's love would appeal more to him. Any normal man would feel suffocated by a woman who he knew had gone to extreme lengths to manipulate her way into his life. He may feel sorry for her but I wonder if he would want to live with her. She had destroyed his happiness and snatched away his love, all in the name of her obsession. I doubt if any man would find such obsessive love touching or even appealing enough to want to spend a lifetime with.

In my opinion, Ovi's act was no lesser than a suicide attempt purely in order to convince a person to love you back! Why would any man or woman want to live with a person that had emotionally blackmailed them into a relationship? And that over a woman, who was madly enough in love with you and yet, felt obliged to put both of you through hell for the sake of her mother. If you suffered, so did she and multifold! While you may want to wring her neck for her stupidity, I don't think you would question her love for you! At least! I would not!

In essence, Arjun had the power to resolve the situation but he failed to. Much as Onir had no business giving in Purvi's demands, made in a state of post partum delirium, Arjun had no business accepting the demands of the two stupid girls. If Arjun can feel deserted by Purvi, then Purvi too has a the right to feel let down by Arjun in that he did not attempt to make her see the stupidity of her choice, I would want a partner who helped me make the right choice rather than one who stupidly gave in to every demand I made.

Anyway, Ovi is making a dignified exit and am real glad for that! Hope it stays that way!

I agree with everything you said. But I feel like Arjun did try to reason with purvi that night. They had a long argument about it until purvi said if you don't marry her ill think you never loved me or something along those lines.

I feel Arjun was wrong in marrying ovi, as purvi was wrong for accepting it and ovi for coming in between. But I wished that after this mess, the CVs had showed ovi calm and mature as she is now shown (based on today episode, god knows what can happen tomorrow) and they showed her taking care of Arjun and loving him endlessly. Maybe Arjun would have realized and their relationship could have worked.

Just my opinion and what I think would have made the story better. But honestly who knows. Just a thought.

Agree that Arjun did try to convince Purvi but then fell to her 'you don't love me otherwise' dialogue. However, like parents don't give in to the tantrums and emotional blackmail of their children when they know what they are asking for is not right, similarly a spouse or lover also has the responsibility to convince their partner of the error of their ways. If Manav and co are guilty of constantly giving into Ovi, then Arjun is guilty of not being able to say no to Purvi. To me, they are equally wrong!

However, I don't think the writers could have taken the path you have outlined wrt Ovi. By definition, the character is spoilt, wilful and adamant. She does not make much of an effort to understand the other person's pov. She must have what she wants and she will not accept anything that goes against her will. Given this, it would have been unnatural for the character to suddenly turn into an understanding wife overnight. With Ovi, it is all or nothing. I still can't fathom how she imagined that Arjun would forget Purvi so easily and enjoy conjugal bliss with her, when she was the one who had engineered to snatch his love away from him. But then, that is Ovi. She does not get logic. What she must have, she must have.

She had to go through this learning curve to understand that life does not always happen the way we want it to. She had to experience pain and heartbreak for her to evolve and mature as a person. I think Manav said pretty much the same thing in today's episode. If you ask me, the writers had to play this track this way. They had no choice.
