OVI - The character .

Who is she ?

Well I don't think that it's NOT ovi's fault bcoz she is not kid to understand the things and just be stubborn to get everything she wants..she has her own..I agree it's manavs fault who has made her like this..but she is mature enough to take her decisions and understand the things...which she never did and only played as problems for other😡

Well, I disagree as I think she has definitely vampish traits in her character. Shes rude, offensive, disrespectful, neurotic and obsessive! I remember the way she behaved with Archana even before she knew Archu was her mother. She was treating Archu like a servant, ordering her around because to Ovi, she was just her father's employee who could be bullied and commanded according to her will. She told Archu to call her Ma'am! Inspite of Archu being much older to her!

I also remember how Ovi demanded that the then pregnant Purvi be thrown out of Deshmukh house simply because she could not stand Purvi to be in the same house as her! What kind of girl could throw out a heavily pregnant girl (I wont even say sister as Ovi never considered Purvi as her sister) just for her own whims and jealousy? And that too after Purvi dragged Onir to Mumbai to treat Ovi's pregnancy? Ingratitude is the worst sin. Only later, when Ovi thought Purvi had moved on in life with Onir, then she softened slightly towards Purvi. Even then her insecurity always makes her flare up with jealousy whenever she spotted Purvi talking to Arjun!

I wont even talk abt the infamous deal made by Ovi as all 3 are to blame for the deal going through. But yes, Ovi was desperate enough to propose the deal knowing fully well that Arjun did not love her and she could only get his hatred or indifference by forcing him to marry her!

Teju has inherited her parents' basic goodness, Ovi has inherited only Savita's selfishness! It often happens that in a pair of twins, one is born with good traits and the other with bad traits. Teju and Ovi are examples of that!

Well of course , I agree with almost everything you said she's most ungrateful creature but also to say that people willingly gave everything to her . Archana never objected , Purvi never objected . Why doesn't anyone stand up against her . No I understand she's the most annoying , irritating and a horrible character but she i don't know her character can be modified into a nice one easily .

Ovi is the antagonist.

I agree her love for Arjun wasn't love but obsession and infatuation. At the same time, I think purvis love for Arjun isn't that great either. Her love for him comes at conditions -- her family's happiness.

Ovi made mistake of marrying Arjun. I think had she put he suspicions aside and showed more love and care towards Arjun then maybe their relation could have last. Arjun has told her he would never accept her as his wife but if ovi had taken this challenge and stayed strong it would have been great. Ovi should have thought ok, he doesnt want me but i will show him that im right for him. She could have easily showed that she was the better woman for him by showing him more and more love. Eventually he would have seen that inspite of him not accepting this woman she still loves and trusts him and the woman he loved (purvi) left him even though he accepted, gave himself sexually and cared for her so much.

I think he would have learned to love the one that loves you and realized Ovi's love was the real one. She was ready to give her life for him. But the CVs didn't show it like this. They showed her as the obsessive drinking suspicious wife. They had her focus on all the negatives which pushed Arjun away.

I respect you opinion but I think that if their relation would have have been about adjustment then isn't that acceptance? You have to accept a person in order to adjust with them. This happens in love marriages too. Adjustment is part of life. You must adjust and adapt to everything in life.

I am an arvi fan but I think Arjun would have learned to love Ovi and you don't. I guess we'll never know :)

But personally if I had to choose between two people like in this case where one left u for family and the other wanted me by hook/crook...I would pick the person who did the hook:crook thing. I know it was wrong but hey why stay with the one who left you? What's guarantee they won't leave again even if you stay together?
