Idk.

Yeah with ovi I was thinking what could have been... Rather than what the CVs showed.

Yes, I understand what ur saying, Soni! I agree in real life no man would put up with such a betrayal of his love and commitment! He would move on with the other woman and never look back!
But in real life, no man would agree to marry the other woman simply because his lover is begging him to do so...he would say "Go to Hell, both of you!" and just walk away into the sunset! 😆
But Ekta loves to show her male lead as the true lover who is "As constant as the Northern star' in his devotion to his beloved. Even after such betrayal and emotional torture and misery, Arjun still loves Purvi, nay worships her! Go figure!
Personally speaking, Im not the forgiving type either...😆 But when u love someone, can you ever stop loving that person inspite of all the hurts and betrayals? So many times, our loved ones hurt us, knowingly or unknowingly...but we still forgive them and still love them. I dont think its possible to stop loving someone even if they hurt you terribly!

Agreed di, is hard to stop loving someone. You're absolutely right. We forgive and forgive simply because we love and still want them in our lives because they make our life better.

Yep and even tho love forgives in real life no guy would never deal with that! You're right about that too!

I wont comment on Ovi per se... we all know precisely how I feel about her, human traits or not - I cannot condone many of her actions or behaviour. At the time she lost her baby and wasnt told, I felt for her then. But that was the only time I had any sort of normal, real or sympathetic reaction towards her.

What Im commenting on is the by hook or crook idea or the one that gave u up by Soni. Who would u go for?

Well... Pallavi is right in that in real life, the man involved would say "NEITHER" - go to hell both of you... in real life, he will find a woman who praises and loves and supports him unconditionally - not as a means to HER family's happiness or as arm candy (yes... even men are arm candy).

In Arjun's case, as he is the eternal lover boy - he will now and always love Purvi despite whatever is thrown at him.

But - coming to the hook or crook - who would want someone who used every means in the book to earn that love - irrational means, insensitive means, deceitful means. Hook and crook means many things, but it doesn't mean a loss of humanity, sensitivity and senses. And when one loses that self respect and can go to such means, then its not love and I dont think it can ever be love. Also begs the question, how much further can that person go to get what THEY want and to get love. Love is the one thing that can make a man stay with a woman after she has had cancer and lost her breast, her looks, her hair and fighting and hanging by a thread. Love is the one thing that will make a woman stick by a man after he has suffered some illness or bankruptcy or paralysed. Its the only thing that binds a couple without the other person ever feeling obligated, burdened, pressured into doing whats right - but WANTING to do it.

Soo... hook or crook - NEVER! I guess therefore I can never understand Ovi.

I have no clue what I wrote above. I might just come back and delete this post :). Sorry for the ramblings girls.

Er ...she is the daughter of that house . The story was Manav Archana's story and these r their kids . The question is who is Purvi . She definetely is not adopted as no adoption process can go through without signatures , we saw the thorough check up when Varsha tried to adopt a baby . She is no wife of Arjun either as she got married to Onir . Now it is being surmised that even that marraige is invalid . So question remains who is she ? To be in Manav's will and that house i mean .

Purvi is the readymade daughter of the house...who had no connection with Deshmukhs what so- ever... Manav, Savita, Sachin. Teju, Ovi didn't know whether she existed...and it shouldn't make any difference anyway...but now she is most important member of the house because she is shoved in their throats by Archana...Archana will shout- Purvi meri jaan hai, mera wajood hai and blah blah and everybody starts worshipping her...Man what a identity... She has adopted by Archana as Karanjkar, was to become a Kirloskar but dumped her lover-boy then became Mrs Onir Dutt and then she was herself dumped and now living in Deshmukh house...God help those people who will make her identity card it would be the longest name in history
Miss as well as Mrs- PURVI Karanjkar Dutt Deshmukh and soon to be Kirloskar
hope I have not missed something😆
