As she got out of her room and went near the stairs, khushi felt a hand gripping her hand tightly. khushi gasped and her eyes widened as big and round as saucer seeing the person infront of her. ARNAV!

He put one hand to cover her mouth and pulled her to the elevator. The elevator was empty.

Arnav had dangerous expression in his face and khushi was too shocked to utter a word.

Arnav got his phone out of his pocket and dialed someone's number..

Arnav: yah! YAH I WANT ELEVATOR #9 TO BE OUT OF SERVICE FOR 15 MINUTES. LET THE LIGHTS TURNED ON BUT NO ONE SHOULD USE THIS ELEVATOR FOR 1Q5 MINUTES, DO YOU GET THAT?

Arnav's expression was so outraging, so dangerous that it seemed like he would burst any moment. Khushi didn't have the courage to even look at him, she just looked down on the floor.

Arnav turned around with a dangerous glare at an already scared khushi. and pinned her to the corner of the elevator.

Arnav: HOW MANY TIMES DID.I.TELL.YOU.NOT.TO.MEET.HER? HOW MANY TIMES DDAMMIT!?

Khushi almost jumped at that.

Arnav: WHY DID YOU GO THERE AGAIN?

Khushi didn't say anything and didn't dare to look at her furious husband either. What could she do? Arnav was right in his place. He was right when he said not to meet with shrtuti. He was right when he said not to support her. Although she still wasn't clear about why shruti was lying, she did realize that whatever reason it is, just to save HERSELF. She didn't know what to tell Arnav. she promised him that she wouldn't meet her.

But what could even Khushi do? She thought all of it was just a misunderstanding. But now, things are turning to be something else. And now this question session to her furious husband. What would she answer? that she was lying? That Shruti lied to her? but what if it was for good. May be she didn't have any other choice? No it can't be. She might lie to Arnav to save herself. She might lie to him to save her image as they were really "CLOSE" friend ,, as shruti said, but she could have atleast told ME. Or may be she didn't feel comfortable? There were so many things going on in her mind. She didn't want to tell Arnav anything that she wasn't sure of.

Khushi: I'. I'. w'. actually-

Arnav: And I don't want |ANY STALLING.

So khushi was left with no choice other than telling him everything.

Khushi: Actually, uhh'' I actually '.

Arnav: KHUSHI? look at me

She was still looking at the ground when arnav repeated with a cold voice.

Arnav: KHUSHI? LOOK.AT.ME!

She slowly looked at her husband who had a very stern look and all red.

Arnav in a cold voice: NOW TELL ME.

Khushi: I actually met' I have been'.. meeting shrutiji'. For'' for 3 days. But-

Arnav's eyes widened and his anger increased at a level that he couldn't control. Despite of her promise, she met a person who didn't care about her, about ARNA|V SINGH RIZADA'S WIFE. He literally shouted.

Arnav: WHYYY? WHY DID YOU MEET SHRUTI AGAIN? Inspite of ME FORBIDDING?

Khushi: Arnav' Arnavji let ' let me explain first ' please..i thought'

Arnav: YES! YOU THOUGHT! THAT'S THE MAJOR PROBLEM HERE. YOU THINK TOO MUCH KHUSHI!

Khushi controlled her tears somehow. She regretted fror not listening to Arnav.

Khushi: Arnavji--- let--- let me expl-----explain

Arnav: OH NOW YOU WANT TO EXPLAIN? WHAT DO YOU WANT TO EXPLAIN TO ME? THAT SHRUTI IS INNOCENT? AND I'M WRONG ABOUT HER? SHE CARES ABOUT YOU? SHE'.

Arnav sighed.

Arnav: khushi HOW MANY TIMES DID I TELL YOU NOT TO MEET HER?

He turned around and went to the other corner of the elevator. He was so outraged that he didn't notice the tears flowing down khushi's cheeks.

All of a sudden, the lights went off. Everything went black, DARK!

Khushi: ARNAVJI!

Khushi was startled and screamed in fear. Arnav rushed to her side and pulled her to his chest knowing that how scared khushi is of darkness. He remembered their Nainital trip' how he made her sleep in the darkness and she had fever the next day. He wrapped her with his protective arms.

Arnav: shhh. I'm here.

Khushi hugged him tightly clutching his shirt. After sometime, arnav tried to break the hug but khushi was just snuggling into him more. He sat on the ground and made her sit on his lap.

He heard the sound of her sniffling. Not because she was scared but because he had shouted at her. He felt terrible. He hated it. He hated whenever he shouted at her. He knew she has a very soft heart and she just can't bear when Arnav scolds or shouts at her like that. He knew whatever has happened, whatever khushi did, wasn't her fault either. His little crazy wife just cares about others so much that she doesn't see which is good for her and which is bad. But what could Arnav do? He HAD TO make khushi realize shruti is not innocent and had to teach shruti a lesson. He wanted to show shruti that whoever messes with ARNAV SINGH RAIZADA's WIFE regrets for their deeds. But couldn't because of khushi..

Arnav: Khushi?

Khushi just sat on his lap and didn't move or showed any signs of breaking the hug.

Arnav: sweetheart, look at me? Please?

Khushi slowly loosened her grip around his neck and arnav held her hands to take it off his neck.

Arnav looked at her red teary eyes . He wiped her tears and and kissed her forehead.

Arnav: sweetheart, why did you go there inspite of me forbidding so much? You promised me that you wouldn't go, didn't you? Then?

Khushi stopped sobbing

Khushi: I'm sorry arnavji, I'.. I thought it as just a misunderstanding'. Bet' between two friends because of me. A misunderstanding between two "BEST" friends, two "close" friends due to my stupidity.

Arnav was shocked first of all, hearing "best friend" , and "close friend" from her mouth as none of it was true. but what she said next was beyond bearable. STUPIDITY? SHE was left all alone, SHE was in trouble, SHE was teased by 3 unknown jerks and it is HER STUPIDITY? What was she thinking? But he didn't want to shout at her or scare her again. So he said in a really low but cold voice.

Arnav sternly: what you just said should never be repeated again.

Khushi: Arnavji, you don't understand. If I had been a bit more careful and took my cellphone with me that day, had the address with me, neither all these had happened nor had this issues between you and shrutiji occurred. It was all because of my STU-

She couldn't finish her sentence when Arnav sealed her mouth with his to stop her repeating that word again.. He kissed her wildly and hungrily, As if taking all his anger out through it. he went deeper into her mouth as he pushed her towards him more and more. Khushi was taken aback at his sudden move but then equally responded. Khushi was out of breath and was about to break the kiss but arnav held her forcefully for a few more second and bit her lower lip gently as if giving her punishment and at the same time warning for not to repeat that again.

They broke the kiss as they gasped for breath. Khushi was breathing heavily.

Arnav: I'm sure you wouldn't make that mistake once again, hm?

He smirked.

Arnav could feel his little wife turning into his favourite colour but missed to see it due to the darkness.

Arnav: and what about me and SHRUTI being best friend hm? Where did all those come from?

Khushi: you guys weren't best friends in college?

Arnav: Nooo! it's true that I helped her in her studies, especially in management business as she was a bit weak at that but no way! Me and shruti, BEST FRIENDS? how did THAT crap come from?

Khushi was in real shock now. Why the hell is this shurutiji lying to her? what's going on? But she didn't want to take shruti's name now.

Khushi: no it's just me, I thought, just like that.

Arnav sighed and changed his expression into a serious one. He started soothing her hair and continued.

Arnav seriously: Sweetheart, NEVER blame yourself for what happened that day. It wasn't your fault AT ALL. If someone was being stupid, it was ME because I let you go out with that shruti. And of course, shruti is 100% at fault. You KNOW the reason and I have explained to you a lot of times. You gotta stop "MAKING" her innocent because she is NOT. You're nice to everyone and that's your weakness in one way. They take advantage of your kindness, sweetheart. Never let your kindness, your sweetness, your honesty be your weakness. It will just keep damaging a lot of things in your life and you wouldn't even realize. Khushi, always remember, to live in this world, you HAVE to be strict; you have to be rude at one point even though you don't want to. It's for your own good. Being innocent, being extremely nice to everyone is just your behavior, it's god gifted, you can't change it and I LOVE YOU for that. Of course, you should NEVER change. But to get things back on track, some pushes are necessary for some people in this world.

Khushi herself didn't know she had these characteristics in her! she was never told about anything like that and she thanked DM that no one told her. because it felt exrtremely nice, extrememly lovely, extrememly CUTE to hear them from her husband who never actually had the courage to express his feelings. She LOVED how arnav said everything in a flow, with her in his chest. Khushi just listened to arnav quietly, as if taking in all the words in her head, her mind to take a different step. As if he was saying something REALLY important which no one could avoid. She listened to him as if she was trying to find something through his words.

Khushi: Arnavji?

Arnav: mmm?

Khushi: Will you do something for me?

Arnav: Of course sweetheart! Has this ever happened that you said something and I didn't listen to? Well of course except your crazy antics. But oh well, you "MADE" me do it by your emotional blackmails anyways.

They both chuckled. Khushi place her head in his chest again and asked softly.

Khushi: Arnavji, will you forgive shrutiji once?

Arnav's eyes widened. After giving her such a long speech, he didn't expect THIS from her.

Arnav: KHUSHI?

Khushi interrupted: No arnavji, please don't say no. I PROMISE you won't regret forgiving her this time. Please say yes? For me? Please Arnavji?

Arnav: khushi, you-

Khushi: Arnavji please? I promised you right? I have a reason behind it which I'll tell you later. But for now, will you just forgive her and do whatever she tells you to do?

Arnav: khushi have you gone mad? And What do you mean by "do whatever she wants me to do" ?

Khushi: no I haven't gone mad and won't be anytime soon. Don't worry about that. Just say yes please please pleaseee?

Arnav sighed. He wondered what his crazy wife is upto now. But somewhere inside his heart he knew, khushi sunk in every word of him and she wouldn't make the same mistake ever again. And of course, he had to agree with his lioness at this moment as it won't be preferable to his safety if he disagrees.

Arnav took a deep breath: alright!

Khushi chirped in happiness and hugged by his neck.

Khushi: lovvveee you arnavji!
