Gauri had gone through emotional trauma in her childhood because of Singhs. If she wanted to take revenge, it was understandable. Moreover, when she realised her marriage was illegal, she started feeling insecured.

Sanchi is arrogant and will go to any length to get what she wants. Gauri did not do that. When she came to know about jagya's past, she slapped him left and right and broke off with him... it was her misfortune that she could not remain firm with her decision.

yes, Sanchi may be rightly compared only with dadisa, mean and manipulative. The way she was manipulating sumitra, even I thought of dadisa.
