Day 2- For Dancing
"beep...beep...beep...beep..." rey's phone rang...he wake up and receive the call..."hello"said rey...
"rey..."said from the other side...
"taani???how do u get my nunber???"ask rey...
"rey...i m going rey...forever...bye rey...take care of yourself..."taani said...
"taani...where are u taani???taani tell me...where are..."but rey couldnt complete his sentence...he heard voice of falling something in the water...
"taanniii..."he shout...
he open his eyes and saw that he was on his bad...it was just a nightmare...a bad night mare...he was badly sweating...he grab the glass full of water and gulped it...
"thank god it was just a nightmare.but why such a bad dream?? i skipped my heartbeat when i heard that sound of falling something in the water...here i m trying to find the reasons and u r scaring me with this bad nightmares...plz god help me ..."rey thought...
it was still dark outside...the sun didnt come yet...all were sleeping peacefully...
"i still remember that evening when i first saw taani without blinking...that day on the bridge...she was standing...her hairs were flying in the air...i couldnt help but got lost in her beauty.she was looking extremly beautiful.i couldnt take off my eyes from her. She was looking like an angel."thought rey.
"what the hell...why i m thinking about her??"said rey..."first of all she is mad...she want to die and now she is making me mad.oh god this girl is driving me crazy"said rey and went to freshen up.
At the orphanage:
Finally sun rise. Birds were chirping outside.Sun rays came in to the room and caress her cheek. Her brows curved in a 's' shape because the sun rays disturbed her sleep. She snatch her blanket on her face and again sleep.
"taani" she heard a melodious voice .
"taani...its morniing...wake up..."again she heard the voice abd she recognize that she was disha. She remove her blanket from her eyes to nose only...disha came in. She can see only her eyes.
"taani...utho..."said disha and snatch the blanket from taani...
"ufffoo dishu...plz let me sleep for sometime."said taani.
"plz wake up...r u planning to bunk school today??"ask disha.
"no...just 5 minutes...i want to sleep..."said taani.
"plz...see who will comb my hair then???"said disha with a cute pout...
"ok...ok...sit here...i will comb..."said taani and sit on her bed. Disha sat down and taani comb her hair and tied them in a ponytail.
Taano freshen up and both came down...its 8 pm...time to go school...suddenly the door bell rang and taani open the door...its rey...
"why r u here at this early morning??"ask taani...
"well i m here to pick u up for school "said rey and came in...he saw disha sitting on the dinning table...
"hi sweet heart"said rey and pinch her cheek...
"sweet heart??her name is disha..."said taani
"ya i know"answer rey..."come on guys ...we r getting late for school..."
"oh...so u e here to pick us??"ask disha
"yes sweetheart...see all your friends reach school...only we three are here ...so lets go..."said rey..."first clean your mouth sweet heart...its full of jam..." and rey clean her mouth and cheeks with his hanky...
Taani look at him and smile..."how caring he is" she thought...
"thank u rey ..."said disha and then all left for school...
Taani's pov:
We left for school in his car...we enter in the school together. All girls were looking at us...probabaly thinking that eho m i??and what i m doing with rey?? From when i joined the school no one is my friend...rey is the first one...i wonder why he want me to live?? I saw all girls...they were giving me angry glances...obviciouly bcoz i m with rey. He was dashing handsome and cool dude of the school...and i...i m only an orphan who doesnt have any expensive clothes to wear nor make up...my hairs are not so stylish as their...my hairs are long till my waist and just simplr hair cut...i rearly cut my hairs...i look at thoes girls...with stylish hair,expensive clothes,make up...they are beautiful but artificialy...i didnt know when i stop walking...i just looking at the bunch of girls who were looking at me...no no...not looking...glaring at me...suddenly i felt some one hold my palm and intertwing fingers with me...i look at the hand first and then at the person...he was rey...
"why u stop taani...come lets go..."said rey.
"ya lets go..."i also intertwin my finger with him...
We three reach at disha's class...
"ok dishu...we will meet after school"i said but instead of answering me...disha gigled...
"why are u giglling??"ask rey and raise his eyebrows...
"rey...u can leave taani's hand now"said disha and went in giggling...
We both look at our hands...we both were feeling embarassed...we quickly let go each others hand...and went in our class...
I as usuall sit on my seat alone...but today was something different...rey sat beside me...i look at him...he smile at me...i smile back and look around...i zaw my class mate girls glaring at me...of course they were jealous...
In the recess we r in the canteen...he was on the counter for order our food...
Some girls came to me ...and glare at me...
"look at this girl...she is with reyaansh right??"said a girl...
"ya...so old fashioned na??look at reyaansh...he is so handsome...and look at her..."said another girl...
I was feeling so hurt...
"see her down market clothes...and her hair...how can reyaansh be with her??"said another girl ..
My eyes filled with tears...
"see...after listening all this she is sitting here shamelessly...look at her...no make up...she is not beautiful..."said the first girl ..
"she is beautiful than all of u..."i heard his voice . I look at him...he is standing there smilling at me...
"yes she is beautiful...now u all plz leave us alone??"said rey...
I can feel care for me in his behaviour...but i couldnt controll my tears...i ran from there and cry my heart out in fire exit...
Rey's pov:
I look at her and with my surprise i saw her running from there...i follow her...she enter in the fire exit...i also enter and sit beside her...
"hey taani...plz dont cry...they are just jealous of u because u r beautiful then them..."i said...
"plz rey...what they said...all thing are true..."said taani
"taani...look at me taani..."i said but she didnt...
I made her to look at me...i can see pain in her eyes...i wipe her tears..."taani...they are just bunch of stupid girls...dont think about their non sence talk...ok??"i said and taani nod in yes...and smile a little...gosh...her smile was so beautiful...
"ok...let me know about u more...what do u want to be???"i ask and immidgetly she slipped out only one word..."dancer..."...
There was a smile on her lips when she said dancer...although i m not a dancer...but i can see how much she love dancing...just then bell rang and we went for our classes...after the school over at 1 pm i drop both sweet heart and taani at the orphanage and went to my home...
"hi mom..."i said and sat on the sofa ...
"hi beta..."said my mom and sit beside me ..."i heard u r with a girl today..."she asked me...
"ya mom..."i said and told her the whole incident and about the first reason...
"see rey...u r so helpful i know...i dont mind if u help her...i m so happy that u r helping a girl...and what u said about her...i can say only one thing rey...she is craving for love beta...if possible try to keep her happy...and ya one more thing...i want to meet her...can u bring her with you someday??"ask my mom
"ya of course mom..."i said and give her a side hug and went in my room ...and freshen up...
I sat on my bed and took my phone to call her when i realise that she doesnt have any phone...
I took a snap for an hour and then went to meet her...i know the reason for today was dance...she have to live for dance...
I took my bike keys and went to the orphanage.

At orphanage:

I was sitting near my window and thinking about today's school hours...
When my mother was a young adult, she was already a Classical dancer. By the age of twenty one, she was already getting lead roles in dance plays.
Before my parents died in a traumatic car accident when I was seven, she taught me how to do the basic steps of dancing. And when she died, I didn't give up. Even though I didn't have the money to go to dance lessons, I would train myself at home, working on my technique and flexibility.
I stopped when I was twelve, just because I had given up hope. So when rey asked me earlier today what I've always wanted to be, I made the mistake by answering, 'a dancer'.
"ding dong..."the door bell rang...almost all the girls were down in the hall...dishu was also there...she open the door and saw rey...she immidgetly ran and called me...
"taani..."said dishu...
"yes honey..."i replied...
"rey is here.."said dishu..."why he is here now??"i thought and came down...
"hi..."he said...
"hi..."i replied...
"so u here...anything important??"i asked..."yes"he replied..."sweet heart tell grany that we will be back in evening" he said and drag me with him...
"ok rey...enjoy..."dishu said
"rey what is this...its 4 pm and we r going out??"i asked...
"yes...its imp...just sit ..."he said and i sit on the bike...and he drive...he stopped at a mobile shop...
"why are we here??"i asked
"i m buying a mobile for u..."said rey
"what...plz rey not needed..."i said...
"well u know mob is very imp thing...we can talk with eachother when we want...so no arguments..."he said and we buy a mobile for me...
"thank u..."i said to him and he smile...he give me a sim card and he save his number in my phone...
"ok now next place..."he said and said me to sit...i sit and he drive..
He wouldn't tell me at first where he was driving me, but I knew immediately when I walked in, and faced the empty stage. "You're going to dance today, just you." rey smiled proudly, already dragging me down the aisle to get up the stage.
My eyes widened, as I shook my head. "You're not making me go up there. I haven't danced in four years!"
Rey chuckled. "Well, it's never too late to start again, yeah?"
He gave me one big push, as I stumbled up on that stage. The bright lights shined down on me, making it hard for me to spot Rey on the crowd below. I squinted, raising a hand over my eyes. "EmRey, I don't think this is a good idea." I said.
"Come on! Just take off your shoes, and twirl around." Rey encouraged, making me cross my arms.
"Let's just go somewhere else, yeah?" I suggested, as I began to walk down the stairs. Before I could, Rey stopped me, as he hopped on the stage himself. He pressed a button on the remote he had on his hand. Immediately, a song began to play from the speakers. The song was had a nice rhythm to it, and it was definitely so nice. "If you don't dance anytime soon, I'll make you." Rey warned, taking his hand in mine. I pursed my lips, as he led me to the middle of the stage. "Now, I don't know much about dancing. But, just follow my lead, okay?" Rey said. I hesitantly nodded, feeling a familiar feeling in my stomach. Rey placed two hands by my waist, as I slowly placed my hands around his neck.Needless to say, Rey was not that bad dancer.. I stared up to his eyes, as they sparkled down on my dull ones. His eyes ignited with something that I haven't seen in so long, hope. He pull me little closer to him...i can feel his breath on my face...he was looking at me or i say staring at me...i look at him...his hazzle ball were still staring at me...i look in to it...it feel soothing...we both dance close to each other...
Soon, I began to lose myself to the music. I don't know when Rey started to let go, but he did. I let myself go as I did multiple turns, something I've been practicing for years. As I leapt across that stage with such graceful movement, I saw my mother standing by the stage, watching me with tears in her eyes, tears of joy.
I only realized that I was dancing a solo when the music ended, and I found Rey standing below stage, smiling up at me. "That was amazing." He finally said, making me let out a deep breath of air.
"That felt so good." I whispered under my breath, but I knew Rey could still hear me. "I felt like my mom was there with me."
"So dancing, it connects you with your mother?" he asked, as I came down the stage, wiping the sweat across my forehead.
I licked my lips, as Rey stared down at me. "I don't know." I muttered. Rey gave me a small smile. "Just think about it, Taani. If you performed as well as you did just now, you have a whole future ahead of you."
I laughed weakly. "But, I would never have enough money to get classes."
"Don't give up on it, taani." He patted my back.Sometimes, it's not about the money. It's about talent. If you love dancing, don't let go of it. It is your mothers dream ...she was a very good dancer now think if u will become a succesful dancer how happy she will be...live for dance taani...its your mom's dream and now yours too...right??"
My mind was struct...rey is right...he found second reason...i smile fakely at him...he give me a side hug and then said"lets go...its 7 pm of evening...time paas so fast isnt it??"he ask..."yes rey..."i answer...
We both were returning...and suddenly rey applied brakes...i was affraid..."suddenlly what happen .???"...i thought and hug him from behind...after few minutes i felt his hand on my hand which was around his belly.
"its ok taani...just a puppy came in front so i applied brakes...now its fine..."he said...he again start the bike and i remove my hands... We reach at the orphanage and he went to his home...
After dinner i was sitting in my room...disha was with me...and suddenly my phone rang...
Disha curved her brows and ask..."taani...who gift u a mobile??"
"wo...wo...this mobile..."i was stamering...
"rey bought for u??"said dishu...i was shocked...how she know...
"how do u know??"i ask
"because rey is the only caring friend of your after me..."said disha and went in her room...i pick up the phone...
"hey taani...what rake so long to pick up the phone??"ask rey...
"actually i was in washroom..."i lied..."ummm...why u call??"
"actually...just wanted to talk with u..."he said...and we both keep talking...dont know why but i didnt feel uncomfortable with him...i can share every secret with him...we talk more than an hour...
"ok taani...its quite late now...lets sleep..."said rey...
"ya...good night rey..."i said...
"good night..."he said and cut the call ...then i ly down on my bed and try to sleep but cant...i was thinking about his reasons...how he know the imp parts of my life and i myself didnt know about me...i close my eyes and sleep in wait of next day for his next reason...
~end of second day~
