Im not convinced by her acting at all.. Many a times she gives blank expressions and her dialogue delivery isn't very good!! This is especially evident in the emotional/crying scenes.. As a viewer it really frustrates me because, this show has good actors, a good plot and interesting characters and when the female lead isn't acting properly that becomes the main focus!!

Having said this, yes she is a newbie.. And it will take her time to improve!

she is fine for me and the character of antara she is playing is really impressive. She is new that's why ppl say like that and still she can improve a lot, juz give her some time.

@bold that what I said in my post.. I am willing to give her time to improve but, as of now her acting for me isn't convincing and I find it frustrating to watch😛

That's exactly what I thought after seeing yesterday's episode. In some scenes, I found her dialouge delivery very ummm, loose. That's when I said 'Thodi kacchi hai, par dheere-dheere apne aap sudhar jayegi' 'cause she is a newbie & we must give her a chance.

I agree. I commented about this before. :)

At the moment NS comes across as a perfect china doll without much of an expression.

Also in today's episode, quite contradictory characteristics by her. Yesterday she demanded money from him with just the right attitude, today when he walked into her room she listened to his command for the women to go up without a blink, looked uncertain . Then stood like a doll without barely any expression as he broke the glasses (why did she stand there? why not go and call the police or run out and try to stop him as the girl who demanded money forcefully would have..I kept waiting for her to move...).

What I found really funny was when he gave her the money, she rolled her eyes - please, go and have another look if you don't believe me. It just did not suit the moment...she should have turned around, given him a piece of her mind and walked off rather than standing there and rolling her eyes. That is what the girl who demanded money would have done.

So I'm perplexed and hoping this is just because she is new at acting and haven't got her facial's right yet. But I would love to see more consistency in character as well.

Nikita as a antra not a best choice i agree but also not a bad choice...now its on her how seriosly she take dis role??

Yes I agree.

her acting is not as good as the guys

she is off on quite a few areas and is not convincing

they should have cast a girl that can show more fire when mad

that builds chemistry between a pair..that cliche sexual tension these shows depend on

she emits no chemistry with the main lead.

She is a pretty girl but doesn't have that fire and passion needed for the role. I mean the girl just lost a family member..I would expect the CV to show more hurt...more anger..and fire
