Vijay Saxena's son

Did'nt Vijay Saxena miss a son.Tulsi brought a kid home long long ago and they also would show a few scenes where the picture of the kid with Tulsi/Karan and it falls down when Vijay opens a folder.All this is when Meera traps Tulsi and Karan tries to fight the case with Vijay's help.
Anyway,I was just wondering if Joydeep is that kid.If he is not then who is that kid and where is he now?I am also aware they say that joydeep's parents were killed in an accident.Just wondering????????????
