Zoya Akhtar's next film, which revolves around a family with the emphasis on a brother-sister relationship, is not happening. So, her chance of working with her first cousin ranbir kapoor is ruled out, at least for now.
Well, it is not Bebo who has given up the project. Apparently, this film is not happening because Ranbir is committed to doing a film with Anurag Kashyap and perhaps even Karan Johar's next directorial venture, before he actually sets out to do Zoya's film.
It is said that Zoya and her co-writer Reema Kagti (the director of Talaash) are fully ready with their script and they are unlikely to wait for a year for Ranbir to start work with them.
A trade source hints Zoya will, in all likelihood, look elsewhere for her brother-sister team.
