Hey guys!! Back with part 2... Firstly, thnk u so much for appreciating this work of mine. it is the closest one to my heart... secondly, Guys. I am very happy for all ur support..!! I hope that I never have to repeat this type of story ever again... may god never put a girl through what Guriya is going!!! May she find the love, care and support from this world and may not even remember this incident of her life!!!!

Part 2

They all sat in the conference room, tensed out of their wits for Riya. They were all thinking. Thinking hard for a way to make Riya cope with the situation. Though it wasn't easy. How would it be? They weren't able to accept it even after a month, that Sanjana, their Sanjana was no more. Moreover, that she had died a horrible death. The most painful, unimaginable death. And Riya was her MOTHER! She was shattered and it was all expected. They had managed to stop her from slipping into depression earlier. But they doubted if they would be able to save her now. Everyone had this thought running through their minds, "What if...? what if they failed?!" and all of them had only one answer, "NO!" They had lost Sanjana. They couldn't afford to lose Riya! No way! But what could they do?

Lisa: Guys.. Hum haath pe haath dhare nahi baithe reh sakte! Humein kuch to karna hoga!

Riddhima: Ya Lisa.. But kya?

Shree: Kya hum osse kisi tarah distract nahi kar sakte? Stop her from blaming herself?

Chotu: Kya keh raha hai Shree?

Shaleen: Nahi.. I think Shree theek keh raha hai. Agar hum ose kisi tarah distract karein aur osse iss baare mein zyaada sochne hi nahi dein to? Vo apne aap ko blame nahi karegi!

Sakshi: Shaleen, Sanjana Riya ki beti thi. Vo hamesha oske dimaag mein rahegi chahe Riya kuch bhi kare. Aur phir aisi guilt mein Riya na to theek se kahyegi aur na hi soyegi aur apni tabiyat kharaab bhi karegi. Aur distraction? Pata nahi. Mujhe to kuch samajh nahi aa raha!

Aisha: aur vo raat ko jab ghar jayegi? Tab bhi to Sanjana k baare mein hi sochegi?!

Lisa: to agar hum osse gehri neend main daal dein?

Armaan: Kya keh rahi ho Lisa?

Lisa: sleeping pills? Isse vo soyegi bhi aur ose sapne bhi nahi aayenge!

Armaan: But vo addictive hoti hain! aur Riya iske liye kabhi raazi nahi hogi!

Lisa: maine kab kaha k osse long term medication deni hai. Aur ose bataana zaroori nahi hai.

Riddhima: I have a feeling that ye plan shayad kaam kar jaye! But zyada samey tak nahi chalega!

Sameer: ye faisla Arjun ko lena hoga!

Arjun: Isse humein thora waqt mil jayega. Magar ye dangerous to nahi hai na?

Riddhima: Nahi. Don't worry. Koi side-effects nahi honge!

Arjun: To phir I guess, humein yahi karna chahiye...!!

They do the necessary arrangements. And this treatment begins. It goes on for a few days and it works. Though Riya is not her usual bubbly self, but she is not slipping into depression and this fact keeps the team's spirit some-what high. Side-by-side, they start looking for other ways to help Riya. But, unfortunately, they don't come up with anything good. This lowers Arjun's morale as he is unable to help his love over-come the loss of their daughter.

To the outside world, Arjun is very brave and courageous but only he knows how much he misses his daughter and his wife. It kills him to see Riya in this state and he starts blaming himself for everything. This starts taking a toll on his self-control and calm and he starts getting worked up at every little thing. Being unable to save firstly, his daughter and then his wife makes him feel like a failure and he, unknowingly, starts losing faith in himself. He wasn't over his daughter's death. He was just pretending. And he knew how empty he felt without her. Hidden from the world was a father whom Arjun had concealed within himself since his daughter's death. Arjun dad begged the stronger Arjun to come out. But he wouldn't allow it. He knew he had to be strong. For his Riya. If she saw him broken, then that would be the last straw and she would be crushed. So he concealed his fatherly part for everyone. Except himself. Only he knew the value of the nights he had spent in his daughter's room. Crying his heart out, yet not having the pain dulled. Begging her to come back, yet not finding her anywhere. His heart was shared by his Riya and his Sanjana. Sanjana had left him, taking his heart away forever. Her half and her mother's half!

The days passed by and the conditions remained the same. What once used to be the centre of excitement had now become a dull place. A typical office! And that, my friend was a lot to say for the ETF head-quarters. The hardly had any complicated cases, mainly, because commissioner knew the situation the ETF was going through. He had suggested them to take time off but they had refused. So he was trying to provide as much silent help as possible.

Everything was going on normal, or should I say, abnormally, for ETF until one afternoon. They were all sitting in the conference room. Doing paper-work. No one spoke. There was absolutely NOTHING. It was almost like they were robots. Working emotionlessly. Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

Sameer: come in!

The door opened and Neha, the receptionist, entered.

Neha: Sir, aapse koi milne aaya hai.

Sameer: andar bhejo!

She went outside and a few minutes later a man entered. He looked so tensed that he was trembling with fear. Infact, his state was so alarming that everyone stared at him in shock for a minute before coming back to senses.

Man: mera naam Rajeev hai. Please! Aapko meri madat karni hogi! Meri beti ko... vo le gaya hai! Aur ab vo pata nahi oske saath kya karega!

Everyone stood up in a shock. Aisha went up to him and made him sit on the chair. Arjun went up to him and kept a hand on his shoulder.

Sameer: aap kya keh rahe hain? please poori baat bataiye!

Rajeev: main ek chota sa businessman hoon. meri biwi hai, oska naam Simran hai. Aur ek 7 saal ki beti hai, Sonia. Sonia park mein roz ki tarah khel rahi thi. Aur meri biwi ghar pe thi. Meri beti ki holidays chal rahi hain to vo roz subha apne friends ke saath khelti hai. Pichle kuch dino se, meri beti aur oske doston ne ek aadmi k baare mein complain kiya, k vo onhe ghoorta rehta hai. Osne inhe apne paas bhi bulaane ki koshish ki.

Riddhima: Kya vo bacche oske paas gaye? Osne kuch kiya?

Rajeev: nahi! Bacche oske paas nahi gaye the. Jabse vo 6 saal ki bacchi k rape ki khabar aayi hai tabse hum sab ne apne baccho ko kisi bhi anjaan aadmi k paas jaane se mana kiya hai. Aur vo bacche kafi samajhdaar bhi hain. onmein se koi oske paas nahi gaya balki onho ne apne apne parents ko ye baat batayi. Society k sabhi sadasya mile aur humne oss aadmi k khilaaf ek complaint lodge ki. Vo aadmi do dino se aana band ho gaya. Magar abhi aadhe ghante pehle, jab meri beti khel rahi thi to vo aadmi aaya aur ek gu... gun meri beti k sa... sar per rakhi aur ose le gaya. Oske doston ne turant mujhe bataya aur hum logo ne ose pakadne ki koshish ki magar vo bhag gaya. Aur main aapke paas jald se jald aa gaya. Please meri beti ko bacha lijiye!!

Before anyone could speak, Riya: aap chinta mat kijiye. Aapki beti ko main vapis laungi. Sahi salaamat! Mera vaada hai aapse!

Everyone looked at her amazed. In weeks, this was the first time she had spoken herself. Other times, she would just reply to a question or stay silent. This case brought a ray of hope. Maybe, this was how they would get their Riya back. They vowed to help her and take revenge for their Sanjana.

Shaleen: kya aap oss aadmi ka huliya bata sakte hain?

Rajeev: Humaari society mein CCTV camera's hain. main osko tasveer de sakta hoon.

Aisha: Chaliye!

They all leave for the society. Shree extracts the image of the person and Chotu gets a photo of the little girl. Aisha circulates it around and Shaleen, Arjun, Armaan, Sameer, Riya, Sakshi, Aisha and Riddhima all leave to search for the girl. They get information from one of Aisha's informers and they reach the place where he had told. Of course, inside, the girl was tied to a chair and was unconscious. The man was looking at her with greed and lust in his eyes. The ETF entered without a sound. The look in the man's eyes made all of their blood boil. How they wished to kill him. For a moment, all of them imagined Sanjana in place of Sonia and the pain of her being in this state engulfed them. They went in without any delay and without any sound. They had seen a gun near the girl's chair and so they were proceeding carefully so as to not alert him. Else, he might hurt Sonia. The man untied Sonia and laid her on the table behind the chair. This was it! Riya ran across the room so fast that she almost leaped! A few seconds ago she had been standing with the rest of the team and now she was across the room, kicking, punching and beating that disgusting man! She hit him again and again letting all her grief, her pain, her sorrow seep from her as her anger. The rest of the team looked at her. Riya was beating the guy and had tears gushing down her face. She shouted, cried, screamed her pain for the world to hear. There was so much sorrow in her voice that it could melt a stone! Watching her like this killed the 7 people standing behind her. Sakshi, Riddhima and Aisha all had tears gushing down their faces and the boys- Arjun, Shaleen, Armaan, Sameer had fisted their hands and closed their eyes, unable to bear their beloved Riya's pain. When the guy was almost dead, she kicked him a last time and then fell to her knees and screamed a loud, painful anguished scream!

Sonia returned to her parents and the ETF witnessed this re-union. Riya just had one thought running through her mind. "I wish it was me, Arjun and Sanjana! But atleast, My daughter now rests in peace! I love u meri jaan... Hamesha and forever!" and looked up to the sky where, she knew, Sanjana now resided!
