The answer of ur question is in the episode itself dear

Saras does not want to confront his father regarding telephone number and e mail address and this will alert him of his fetal intentions ...so he searches his closet and finds the address of the family

Ss well have seen that saras kumud family know each other since long so he does have their address ...so saras smartly decides to write letter to kumud ...as he already said deal is between me and the girl...so i will talk to one who will listen to me 😉...muah mere laal kya dimaag paya hai lolz

That question is clearly addressed in todays episode. He did not want to ask for her email id or phone number from his father because he was going to reject the proposal.
