Baking task for Yasmeen and Khoku

I am not against them at all and I believe that if judges have selected them in final 12 they probably have the magic of creating tasty dishes. I disagree though about the sob stories to be the reason to be in this show. For singing/dancing reality shows, sob stories only work once you have shown to the public that you have what people want to listen or see. Unlike dancing and singing where all is visible, and the mentor ship helps them excel, for cooking reality show, judges can judge on taste which audience has to rely on the judges comments. The audience can only see the team efforts, the presentations and the innovation if they describe their dish.

I could see that the focus on Khoku was much less for the baking as probably she had much less clue compared to other contestants. Yasmeen is a quick learner so the team was a help to her in making decorations and beating the eggs. These two can't show their innovation in all kinds of cooking while all other contestants have that leverage.

I don't think either one of them should be the winner.

u r right ... i could not understand why the focus on khoku and yasmeen was so less in cake challenge !!!! not just them i found whole cake challenge episodes very much edited, like happy's team had already planned different flavour in different tiers, but when chef kunal asked him he only said elaichi and dalchini and cracked lemon joke !!!! 😕 😆

but i think this year masterchef theme is desi tadka food, so i guess there are chances for them to reach far !!!!! 😉 let's see ...

I agree...as much as I like Kohku and Yasmeen...I don't see them as winners...they have limited experience/knowledge when it comes to cooking...they are strong when it comes to Indian cooking but that's about it...

I think they had pineapple with something else. Red team took suggestions from the Chef and added one spice/herb with every flavor in each layer. I could be wrong though.

I disagree - I think these two are talented born cooks. They have magic in their fingers and would be able to learn anything related to cooking if they make their mind up.

In an half hour edited show with 8-10 mints of advertisements how much can they show? They have to show the mistakes contestants make, a couple of screenshots of someone crying, talking to the camera, doyle jumping or making inane noises, the judges passing armchair comments etc.
They should have this program for an hour and make it more professional like the other versions.

Sometimes I think MI is a scripted show,but khoku is a talented one 4 sure
