Bang (wait for it!) your heads with silly and outlandish O Laila track from the very much in news Shootout at Wadala as our favourite po*n star-turned-Bollywood-actress Sunny Leone takes the nonsensical route yet another time post her debut vehicle.
Sunny became a sensation when she decided to step into the 'Bigg Boss' house two seasons back and was approached by Mahesh Bhatt on national television to star in the sequel to the highly successful Jism franchise. Sunny, who made her skinny way to fame through an almost no brainer Jism 2 which had Sunny in compromising positions every alternate minute of the show reel, might have set temperatures soaring sky high her oomph and sexuality but it definitely did not give any credibility to the actress in Sunny Leone, only if it may exist!

Jism 2, which rode through the torrid situations blankly on the Sunny Leone tag had a marvelous start although falling quite short of being a super hit flick. With almost a staggering 33+ crore business at the box office, Sunny did manage to pull the film through, despite lack luster performances and wasted actors. Jism 2 failed to race up the momentum, courtesy a mindless plot that had no metal in it to be ironed! But, nevertheless, Sunny Leone did establish herself as a powerful and an infamously famous brand bagging Balaji's Ragini MMS 2 right in her kitty. With Sunny's look being leaked, Ragini MMS 2 is certainly setting the barometric level on a high as along with the Jism wala skin show, Sunny also gears up to portray a horrific tale with aplomb.
Call it her liaison with the Balaji scion Ekta Kapoor, she landed up doing a cameo in Balaji's upcoming gangster biopic Shootout at Wadala. After the raunchy and peppy Babli Badmaash Hai number that rocked the nation but failed to match up to the standards set by the other popular item songs, Ekta decided to put in her trump card with Sunny Leone's anticipated debut on screen as an item girl as Laila.
The 'O Laila' track sung by Mika Singh is groovy and encored with beats but what kills the ambience of the film is the outlandish choreography reducing the otherwise nice track to ashes. And Sunny Leone's item number? God, give me a break! O Laila is definitely an item number, but not a Sunny Leone item number rather a John Abraham-Tushar Kapoor item number. In this highly risqu and raunchy number, it is the guys who walk away with all the cake, doing all the naach gaana as Sunny, the wonder woman gyrates with a little jhatkas and matkas here and there.
With Katrina's brilliant belly dancing in Mashallah, and awesome moves and shakes with Sheila and Chikni Chameli in tow, Kareena's natkhat spunk in Fevicol Se and Malaika's uber glam quotient and sexy moves making way to the charts, O Laila is definitely a failed attempt by Ms. Leone, without a doubt. Needless to say, this over hyped song cum item number might just sink, more like the disastrous debut performance by the po*n star in her maiden film.
With Ragini MMS 2 slated for a Diwali release, it would be nice to see Sunny working the magic maverick on screen, putting an end to her bland expressions and stereotyped reactions! Time for some sunny mornings, ehh Sunny?
