"No! Geet Wait! Listen to me!"

Distraught, he ran behind her desperately but she did not stop...

"He was fooling around with my feelings...I am just an object of time pass for him...Unhe koi pharak nahi padhta..."

Maan yanked her forcefully towards him & her hands rested on his shoulder. She tightly closed her eyes & lowered her head a little when he shook her closer by her waist.

"I thought I will impress you with my shayari but tum toh depress ho gayi."

His dense whisper made her nerves flutter. His lips touched her earlobe... She squirmed a bit when her curls blew a little with his heated breath...

"I am sorry Geet...Waise, only you have the birthright to be angry on Maan Singh Khurana..."

The manner in which he said made her heart beat ruthlessly. But this time her dazed mind took a strong stand against her melting heart.

"Geet... If you give in this time... then he will play new & modified pranks on you in future..."

"Let me go." She tried to wriggle out from his firm hold.

But he did exactly the opposite by pinning her to the wall. The growing closeness between their faces made things tougher for her...

"Mishty! Look at me!!!" he tightened his grip around her slim waist.

"Don't... call me by that name." She tried to push him...

He sensually kissed her eyes doing away with the moisture in them...& her pounding heart attacked her ribcage...She clutched her kurti with all her might when he placed his forehead on hers...His warm breaths swayed past her lips making them shiver...Her chest heaved up & down against his torso drove him into a frenzy...

"Jab bhi tum mere paas hoti ho, you lure my senses away & I can't fathom what's right & what's wrong."

She shierked when his lips brushed past her pink cheeks...

"N-Nahi Geet...don't take his words...he is again fooling around!!!!"

Maan was stunned when she pushed him away just when he was about to place his lips on hers...

"Door rahiye mujhse please...!! And I am sorry I can't be an object of fun & entertainment for you anymore!!!"

She couldn't believe she spoke to him that way...

"You are breaking my heart." His voice was hostile.

"And you broke my heart!! What about that?!!"

Her reply was so abrupt that startled him. Geet cursed her tongue a trillionth time for speaking in the most wrong time always & once again turned her eyes away from him

"Tum bhi mujhe chahne lagi ho, hai na?"

He took a step towards her but she stopped him.

"Main aapko bilkul pasand nahi karti & please leave me alone."

She prepared to leave. He just couldn't take in her aloofness.

"I don't think I will leave you alone for a long time."

He saw her receding figure...

"I hope I don't discover you with your Geet/Mishty in Girls Washroom tomorrow." remarked Annie when she came to him.

"You might, you never know." he replied sharply.

Geet was pacing to & fro in her hostel room. She never felt so restless before. It was like every part of her being was revolting against her for having behaved like that with Maan. She didn't know how to remain aloof with him…..& that's why she never genuinely got angry with him for his pranks.But this time, she wanted to be angry on him by not really being angry on him. These contradictory feelings surged withing her making her head wobble.

"Babaji...main aapse bhi naraaz hoon...aap toh meri help hi nahi karte ho...you're always on Maan's side..."

She rued. Her phone buzzed. It was Daarji. She answered the call.

"Geet puttar?? Are you alright?? Sab theek hai na??" asked Daarji sensing something to be wrong in her voice.

"Haan….woh Maan-- "

"Maan???!!!!!!!!" Daarji's voice rose to a high pitch.

Geet was terrified. Her tongue was her biggest enemy.

"N-Nahi Daarji...woh actually...Anwesha & I are doing a project together...so had to go to KM...M-Maan was...not there…."

She tried to cover up & luckily Daarji believed her.

"Then that's okay. It's better for you maintain safe distance from him."

That's what Daarji said everytime whenever he talked to her & she always took his words lightly as she always knew somewhere that being away from Maan is impossible for her...

Daarji inquired further about her health & studies after which he rang off.

"Daarji is right...Just forget about Maan!!!!!"

Next day, Geet was startled when she came face to face with Maan in college. He tried to approach her but she walked away.

"Geet meri baat---" he was desperate.

"I don't want to hear anything. I don't want to say anything."

"Geet once---"

He waited for her outside the classroom but she avoided him when she came out. He stalked her from a distance when she walked through the coridoors. He gazed at her in the library where she tried to concentrate on the books. He followed her to the canteen where she sat with her friends. But she didn't acknowledge his presence even though it was tough for her to do so. Her heart beated but she remained adamant.

"Mishty, I am sorry!! Atleast look at me once!!!"

"I told you you don't have to say sorry. Please don't waste your time here."

The lunch break got over. When Geet looked around, he was nowhere in sight.

"Achcha hua chale gaye, hai na?"

She was persuading herself but hardly succeeded. Annie had noticed her odd behaviour the entire day...

It was evening & Geet sat in the library after her lectures. Maan did not try to contact her the entire day. He left her alone, that's what she wanted.

"Why are you thinking about him Geet?...Actually it's your fault...How can you expect Maan to have feelings for you...? He played a prank on you when he met you for the first time... "

She placed a book back on the shelf.

"I have tried to stay away from you, par nahi ho raha hai."

A chill ran down her spine as the intensity of the whisper was registered by her ears. She felt his steel torso against her back while her rugged breath smashed her shoulders...She squirmed & his stubble grazed her cheeks in the process...

She mechanically turned around & he captured her hazels with his captivating & hostile ones. She was fevicoled between him & the book shelf...

"This is a very boring place to talk. Let's go somewhere else."

She shierked when his lips were almost on the verge of touching hers... Was he really there or her mind was projecting him again like that. Dazed, she moved her hand to touch his face to confirm his presence...His passion only heightened when he felt her delicate fingers...She at once snapped her hand back & turned her eyes away...He was really there...

"Mishty---"

She walked out of the library & he followed her. The coridoors & classrooms were vacated as all the students had left.

"Mujhe tumse kuch kehna hai!!"

"I don't...know what are...you saying."

Geet entered the empty Girls Common Room. He locked the door behind his back & pinned her to the wall. He glared at her passionately.

" How can you think I was talking of some other girl when my mind cannot think of anything else but you!!!! I have never taken you for granted as I don't take my life for granted!!!!!I Love You Mishty & you love me too!!!!!"

"Don't associate me with that name."

"I Love You Geet & you love me too."

Silence never felt so life threatening ever before.Her heart was preparing to explode any moment the way he was looking at her. His intense eyes were razor sharp anniliating her breaths. She discoved she was voiceless in that moment. He lowered his lips to touch hers but she looked away...

He released her.

"You turned me into a prankster when you rejected me on our very first meet itself. If you reject me now, I don't know what I will turn into."

His voice was dangerousely passionate.

She somehow moved her legs to reach the door. He was shocked to see her leave.

"What is more intoxicating than your eyes, Vodka or Whisky?!!"

His weirdness halted her track but she didn't turn behind.

"What do you mean." Her vocals magically worked!

"I need either of them tonight since you have rejected me again."

His voice was deep. She clasped her bag tightly & left...

Geet was not in her senses. First, she hardly expected Maan to say those words & secondly the way he said it to her was unimaginable. But Maan does everything as per his wishes. All in all, Geet was very confused. His words troubled her again, as if that was something new.

She bumped into Annie in the campus.

"Whoa! It's the dream of every girl that Maan Singh Khurana says I love you to them.And guess what it's has happened with you. How is it feeling?" taunted Annie.

Ignoring her, Geet prepared to leave but Annie stopped her.

"Fine! I will be straight" she took a deep breath, "Look, I don't know what problems are between you two & I don't want to interfere also. I didn't see a happy-in-love couple in my entire life...except your parents..." she paused, "...so I wanted a perfect girl for Bhai...a perfect love story. I have never seen him so desperate & that too for a girl & I know you love him too .To make long story short, I want both of you together as a couple. "

Geet was dumbfounded to the core hearing her.

"This is what I feel. But that doesn't change our equation anywhere."

KM Outhouse (Night Time)

The room was dimly lit with golden lights. Maan leaned back on the black sofa with a glass of whisky in hand...but his mind was intoxicated by Mishty's images instead...like it always did...but this time his heart burned in frustration not able to accept her cold behavior. And the fact that she harbored the same feelings for him made it all the more difficult for him to bear her aloofness.

"Door rahiye mujhse please...!! And I am sorry I can't be an object of fun & entertainment for you anymore!!!"

"You don't have to waste your time on me."

"Don't call me by that name."

His eyes were dark with hostility & his grip around the glass went on tightening as the intensity of her thoughts rose in his mind...

"Don't hold the glass so tight, it will break in pieces like my heart."

Maan stood up with a start to see Geet standing in front of him & her odd manner puzzled him.

"So you care about the glass, not of my hand which would bleed if it breaks?!!!!!"

He grabbed her waist & pulled her closer. She smiled quirkily. His heart turned violent when she placed a deep kiss on his cheek...& then she sensually caressed his nape...

"You disappointed me a lot Mr Maan Khurana. A broken lover gulping down drinks & then his lady love comes to his rescue, then they get intimate with each other is so common na, I thought you will be something different but aapka bhi yahi haal hai!"

Maan was bewildered to see her smirk. She was behaving like him... He possessively shook her closer...

"I love you Geet!"

He was just about to slam his lips on hers but she disappeared. Maan looked everywhere...& realized he was dreaming...

"You are mine Geet!!! And now I will do what I do best!!!"

His irises were dark with passion of love...

Hostel

"Does he really love me...Mishty name is quite good, hai na?...Geet, what are you thinking...he was joking...he was not...he was...he was not..."

She felt as if there was some war going on between her heart & mind. That's when her eyes fell on her 'My Perfect! Suitor' diary & her heart skipped some beats...

Next Morning...

"Sir, veg or non-veg. Mam, veg or non-veg."

A tremor shook her sleepy mind when her ears heard those words. She had experienced it before too...She didn't dare open her eyes for she very well knew she was not in her hostel room...Actually she knew where she was...

She opened her droopy eyes bravely & sunlight graced her through the oval shaped window...& her worst nightmare presented itself in the form of reality...

"Mishty, do you want tea or coffee?"

She saw him & also the air-hostess with two mugs. This time she didn't scream nor punched him. Maan's intense eyes were glued to her...

"W-Where...where am I...?" she asked with a lump in her throat...

So hw was it? Exam ke chakkar mein I had totally lost the hand of the story. So dunno how it has turned out!
