I don't think anyone who doesn't know Prats personally can judge her feelings about leaving the show from interview segments or any such thing. Frankly, I don't care if Prats is an angel in human form or the world's most horrible person - she's a mighty fine actress, and she did some damn good work in BV. Her portrayal of Anandi was, to me, the thread that bound the show together. Without it, the whole thing feels hollow. To totally and callously disregard Prats' contribution to the show while branding those who cannot as "over-emotional" and "childish" is an attitude I personally cannot fathom.

I was not going to follow BV after the replacement, but I watched a few scenes online after reading this thread. I feel like Toral is a decent actress, but her portrayal of Anandi feels very "surface level". It's not believable to me. I don't feel like she has made a connection with the character. Perhaps she will in time. I am happy for those who feel able to accept her as Anandi, but I don't think I will be able to. Also, just in terms of general acting, I watched a scene with Anandi in it followed by a scene with Jagya in it... and I have never been a fan of Jagya's character, but the level of acting instantly shot up for me. I had no idea what exactly was going on in either scene, being out of the loop in terms of the storyline, but before I would never have felt those kind of "spikes" in the acting level between a scene with Anandi and a scene with Jagya... so I think Toral definitely needs to up her game.

In my view, neither Pratts nor PH is the victim nor the culprit. It was a business deal..and it was closed. Both teams seem cool with it..and they seemed to have moved on.

These curses don't have any value. BV won't shut sown. It will keep going up. It has a wonderful theme. Such serials should stay up always.

I however understand your point about being Prats's fan and about her new show.

My gripe about the issue is not because a Prat's fan. its about the production house who changed an actor in 3 days notice. COntracts are in place and am sure the role could have been stretched for a week atleast to give it a proper closure. The arrogance of Production House and callous disregard for viewers is my anger in this issue.

I agree that I like Prats as an actor. I will choose to watch the show she comes in for a week or so to give the show a chance and if I don't like it...I will not watch it.

This whole fight for most of us is more for ourselves as viewers. We cannot be taken for granted.

I think it is about time for you and some other colleagues to show the basis on which you make these comments. There is too much blank innuendo being hurled around, PH was arrogant, threw her out, was rude and obnoxious to her, inside info on how PH employees were upset, contract was not honoured, etc. I will keep saying that these are just things being made up till you show back up on the information that proves what you say. PB herself is on record saying she wanted to move on and get her beauty enhanced and it was a mutual decision. You obviously know more. I am happy to submit to your superior knowledge, but let's have some proof. Otherwise we are turning this Forum into a "I know more than you", "I have better contacts than you" kind of tu-tu-main-main. Please I implore to do this for all our sakes. Thanks.

We r going and back and forth discussing the same thing again and again.

For now let's enjoy the show ,what ever the outcome of the show is?we will embrace it and support the BV show.we r the loyal fans and stick with it untill the end.
