Hello MC'ians!
Firstly, I apologize for the delay in announcing the winners, was a lil' busy! 😳
Well... we received six "fabulously" written entries and they're all a winner in their own right, not only for the effort but for being tremendously creative!
But as we all know... there must be a "winner" (and in MC, we always present a "runner-up" also)! 😃
So... according to the votes received, the following two entries had the highest number of votes:

Diwali ke dino mein, khushi hi khushi,
Ho mithai ya ho rang, bhar zarroor dengi!
Aur Phatake honge, din raat roshan humaari
Chutti ki to? Kuch bhi baat nahi!
Eid ki ho baat, to
Hein dusri hi kahaani
Rang se bhara sab ho
Aur woh hmmmm Biryani!
Accha baba accha, baat ho eid ki ya diwali
Yeh rangeen samay mein, hoga hi mithai!
Ho natkhat, khushi aur bhoolna mat, dhed sari masti!
To dil thaamke bethiye, Diwali aur eid aai re aai!
Entry 2:
Dekho diwali aur Eid aayi hai,
Saang uske dheer saari khushiya laayi hai.
Naacho! Jhoomo! mauj manao!
Haso! gao! Masti me jhoom jao!
Mauka hai Khushiya baatane ka
Aapne aapno ke saath kuch pal bitane ka
Dil se dua dene ke ye din
Maat jane dena aapne haatho se yaaro
Dekho diwali aur Eid aayi hai,
Saang uske dheer saari khushiya laayi hai.
Hmmm... any guesses as to who the above two lyricists are?! 😛
Here are some hints:
1. They're both members of the Dev. Team!
2. One's a bit naughty yet a lil' bit nice (entry #1)!
3. The other is a Virgo... and is truly a star (entry #2)!
Alright, alright... I'll spill it:
Entry #1 has taken the runner's-up position (just shy of 2 votes) for this challenge... the lyricist is none other than:
