i still can't believe that you actually dedicated it to me!!! :) but i am happy... now i know how it feels to have something dedicated to you... thank you for this dear!! but i never thought my thoughts actually coincides with yours this much that you dedicated an update to me! :)coming to this update... now i know what happened between these two... at least the beginning of everything... beginning is important in every story... their first impressions are so bad about each other that i wonder how they will manage... but a person who can bring a change to this could be natasha... she is actually one person who knows arjun like the back of her hand!gauri was at fault there but arjun too failed to recognize her as a minor... he should have been a tad bit careful... hopefully gauri learned her lesson that you really need to grow up to take decisions for yourself... but all i am seeing right now is the huge amount of experiences both arjun-arohi could have while finding their way to love...

PART 7
"NO!!! If you want to go to this stupid party then you can go⌠but you cannot force this on me!"
"Im not f*****g forcing anything on you! It's a business dinner and everyone whom we should meet will be there⌠why are you being so goddam difficult??!!!"
"Language Singhania!!! Mind your language⌠this is my office⌠not a cheap roadside bar!"
"Aaarrrggghhh!!!"
Arjun let out a cry of frustration and he turned away from blazing eyes, to stand and look outside the window. Staring at the green lawn outside, he counted to 10⌠then 20⌠and then 30! Taking a deep breath, he brushed a hand through his hair. Turning around he walked towards Arohi, who was standing with her hands folded across her chest, glaring at the wall in front.
"Look⌠Arohi⌠All I'm saying is⌠that the people whom we are going to be associated in this project⌠are going to be coming to this party. We can meet these people in the office⌠in meetings⌠but it is also important⌠that we interact with them socially⌠that doesn't mean that we become friends with them⌠but meeting in a party is like meeting on a neutral ground⌠it makes a difference⌠I don't know why you are so against mingling socially with your professional contacts⌠but this is not a social engagement⌠it is just to get ourselves and them better acquainted⌠ok???"
Arohi felt like she had gone back to school and her teacher was trying to explain her why 2+2 equals 4 and not 5!
Difficult? She was not the one being difficult. He was the one who was being downright stubborn!!! And she knew whyâŚ
Arjun Singhania loved parties. He worked hard, but he partied harder. She had already seen it twice! And she knew his real intentions on insisting for this party. Now that they were working on this project, poor little playboy did not get time to romp in the hay with a girl at night. Mostly they ended up working late or he came for dinner at their place on her fathers insistence. So to satisfy the hunger of his loins, Mr Singhania had come up with this 'ek teer do nishaane' plan.
But Arohi will not let him succeed. How cheap could a person get! She was not particularly fond of partying with her professional acquaintances, but she was not totally against it either.
"I know why you want to go for this party! But im not interested in being a witness to another of your s****l rendezvous under the pretension of project benefit!!!"
Arohis calm voice shot a fire in Arjuns brain. All his hard collected patience flew out of the window when he realised why she was refusing to attend. He was about to stomp over to her and blast, when the cabin door opened and Sudhir Ahluwalia entered.
Arjun watched open-mouthed, as Arohis face went from a glaring to a smiling one and she rushed to greet her father.
"Hi DadâŚ" Honey was dripping from her voice and innocence from her face.
'What the f**k!' was all Arjun could think.
"Arohi Arjun⌠I wanted to talk to you both about this party tonight. I think that you both should attend as a team, it will be good forâŚ"
"Haan dad⌠even I feel the same." Arjuns shocked face turned towards Arohi as he saw her turn this whole thing around!
"Mein toh chahti hu ki hum attend kare. Lekin Arjun mana karraha hai. Saying its not required and its against his professional ethics! And I don't want to force himâŚ"
Arjun glared as Arohi turned to him with a sweet understanding smile on her face.
"Ohh⌠Arjun beta, if you are not comfortable thenâŚ"
"No uncle⌠its ok. I think you are right and⌠we should attend." Arjun gulped down all his anger and smiled. Sudhir smiled at both of them.
"Good. Im really happy to see how you both are understanding and respecting each others decisions. Keep it up!" Sudhir left the cabin and air turned cold again.
Arohi had seen Arjun get her father to his side by posing to be the ideal boy. Well⌠not anymore! From now on, Arohi Ahluwalia will make sure that she beats Arjun at every step he takes towards irritating her. That includes posing a goody-goody 'all is well' image in front of her father.
Arohis smile vanished again as she glared back at Arjun. Picking up a file off her desk, Arohi walked towards the door. Before she opened it, she turned around and pointed two fingers of her hand towards her eyes and then towards Arjun, saying in action "I. Will. Be. Watching. You."

"Kyu??? Aaj kaha dinner karrahe ho? In Arohis office or her house???"
"Aww Nats! Are you feeling jealous that I'm paying attention to another woman and not my personal secretary?" Arjuns voiced teased over the phone.
"Yarrite! Roz dining table pe tumhara intezaar karke wohi sojaati hu mein. Lekin tum nahi aateâŚ" Arjun chuckled hearing the drama in Natashas voice.
She was his source of relaxation. Since Arjun was spending more time in the Ahluwalia office, Natasha was handling all his work from his office. Now he realised how much he missed having her around. Working with her was always a pleasure and lots of fun. But ever since he had been associated with this "Phoolan Devi" work was just too serious and boring. Maybe he should hire another secretary to look after the office and he should get Natasha along. But then it will take atleast a month to train this new one and he wont be able to trust her with his work like he trusted Nats.
"Tum bhi aajao party mein. Atleast I can hope to have some fun then. Warna ye ladki to uss party ko bhi serious bana degi!" Arjun frowned to what lay ahead in the night. He was really looking forward to chilling out tonight and get some work done in the process. But something told him that things are not going to go his way anymore.
"So you teach her to have fun na! No one knows how to enjoy more than Arjun Singhania. Of course, minus the picking up a woman part, you are a lot of fun to be around Arjun. So just help loosen her up."
"Are you crazy???" Arjun almost screamed in the phone. "She hates my guts Natasha. Usse to lagraha hai the only reason I want to go to this party is to hook up with a woman for the night. Although that wont be the worst thing to happen, but still, that is not my sole intention."
Arjun remembered the disgust in her voice when she had told him this loud and clear. He had never been so angry at being prejudged in his life before. "She wears her rimless, judgemental glasses before she talks to me or even hears me out."
"And you don't???" Natashas question threw Arjun off guard.
"Kya matlab? Are you saying im being judgemental???" Arjun frowned.
"Maybe. Arjun⌠the last time you met her, i.e. your second meeting with her was in a pub. So obviously she had come there to relax and unwind. So maybe she knows how to have fun, you just don't know it yet. Why don't you just give this night a chance. Probably you both might realise that you both can enjoy each others company too."
"Yes⌠and maybe pigs will fly and fish will climb trees!" Arjun stated blankly.
"Then don't blame her for being judgemental. Coz you're being the same. Anyway I have to go now. Text me if you feel you need some solace in the boring party. I will see you on Monday."
Bading goodbye, Arjun hung up and leaned back in his chair. He thought over what Nats had spoken to him. His first meeting with Arohi was in a pub, but she had come with a different agenda. But when he met her the second time in another pub, she was there with her friends. Destiny had decided to get a few laughs and so Arjun had to bump into her friend and he was being honest when he said that he had only held her precious friend Sonia, to stop her from falling down. But the position in which Miss Ahluwalia had caught him, had set her off on her insulting spree again.
"Ohh⌠you don't know him? He's a cradle snatcher! He targets young, helpless women and takes advantage of themâŚ"
"Looks like today he did not find any innocent minor to play with⌠and he doesn't care if the woman hes hitting on, is marriedâŚ"
How was he to know that girl was married! Why don't they wear those mangalsutras anymore??? Anyway he had, for once, NOT hit on her, he had just saved her from falling but Miss Ahluwalia never listened! She went on her own fantasy trip of painting him as a s** maniac and ruining the only night when he was out to have some fun.
Well he will not let her ruin tonight for him. If she was going to be serious and professional, then he just felt bad for her.

Arjun tightened the hold on his glass and frowned. This party was a total disaster. He should probably have not insisted on it. The food was excellent, the bar was huge, the dcor tasteful, the music was pleasant and the crowd was young. Yet Arjun was not enjoying the party. Because ever since he had stepped into the hall, Arohi Ahluwalia was having fun.
Firstly she had completely stumped him in a pure white Cinderella dress. Secondly she had left her waist-length hair open⌠was her hair always so soft and curly? He could never figure out in the stupid tight bun that she wore to work everyday. Then thirdly, she had not picked up a single fight with him ever since he had picked her up from her home. Not that he wanted to fight, but she usually had her own opinion about everything and protested when he said otherwise. She had not even glared at him when he was openly staring at her like she transformed from a moth to a butterfly.
And last but not the least, the moment they had entered she was the one leading him to people and introducing them to him, as if attending this party was her idea. Her polite mannerisms and sweet charismatic smile had men eating out of her hand and they just glanced at Arjun once in acknowledgement.
Did she know what she was doing? Or was she completely unaware to how hot and pretty she looked tonight. He had slapped himself mentally when he remembered how he had thought of her as 'unlady like' some days ago.
And here he was, standing at the bar, drinking alone, whereas she was flocked with people around her, mostly men, and he didn't like it. She had come to the party with him, so wasn't it social protocol that she stay by his side. Where he can make sure that men donot come unnecessarily close to her??? Arjun gulped down his drink and stared at the glass. Maybe he should stop drinking, he was actually feeling protective towards a woman who had the guts to rip his b**ls off!
Fine Miss Ahluwalia⌠its one-all now! But Arjun Singhania is still in the game, so you can open your fancy purse and bring on whatever it is, to stump him again.
Arjun kept the glass on the bar counter. He didn't care where Arohi was and what she was doing. He had come to this party to meet their potential investors and he had done that. Now was the time for them to go their separate ways and have fun on their own. Arohi was clearly doing so, and he was standing at a bar, sulking like a kid. Straightening his jacket, Arjun turned around when he heard a soft voice behind him ask,
"Would you like to dance???"
Dont forget to tell me know it was đł
M pakka sure aru is up with some plan against Arjun at the party. She is being nice n polite with him is a dangerous sign for suređ I love itđł
