Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai: Abhira & Armaan imagine spending some romantic time, Aryan SLAPS Krish

The Poddars are ready for Kaveri's Qawwali competition:

The latest episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai opens with the Poddar family gathering for Kaveri’s special qawwali themed celebration. Dressed according to the occasion, everyone arrives in festive spirits while Manisha takes charge of welcoming the guests. Manoj jokingly tells her that since everyone is dressed traditionally, she should also speak in the same style. Kaveri is delighted to see the preparations and praises the beautiful arrangements made for the evening.

Amid the celebrations, Mukti grabs everyone’s attention with her unusual outfit. Both Manisha and Madhav question why she is dressed like one of the men. Mukti confidently explains that since Myra will represent the women’s side during the gawwali competition, she has decided to join the men’s team for the musical face off. Manoj happily invites her to perform with them, but Manisha playfully declares that Mukti can switch teams only after the women secure victory.

Abhira & Armaan are unable to hide their feelings:

Meanwhile, Sanjay and Krish arrive at the party. Kajal expresses disappointment that they did not inform her beforehand about joining the event. Krish brushes it aside and says he is only there to wish Kaveri, not to participate in the costume competition. Sanjay remarks that their presence is necessary so nobody assumes the Poddars have completely distanced themselves from the Bansals. Kajal taunts Sanjay for constantly worrying about society’s opinion, while Krish comments that someone in the family has to think practically.

Elsewhere, Kaveri quietly asks Mukti and Myra to help bring Abhira and Arman emotionally closer before the upcoming Vat Savitri ritual. Soon after, Abhira and Arman come face to face and are unable to hide their feelings for one another. Abhira becomes emotional after learning that Arman succeeded in clearing Rajat’s name in Meher’s matter. The two decide to share the happy news with Mukti together, and their growing affection becomes evident.

The atmosphere shifts when Abhira apologises to Disha’s family. Disha appears confused and asks why she is apologising at all, while Damyanti insists that Krish should be the one seeking forgiveness. During the event, Manisha notices Rishab and assumes he has entered the party uninvited. She immediately confronts him and asks him to call his family members. To everyone’s surprise, Damyanti introduces Rishab as her grandson, leaving Manisha embarrassed before she warmly welcomes him.

Soon, the much awaited gawwali competition begins. Abhira and Arman perform from rival teams, though both secretly imagine spending a quiet romantic moment together away from the crowd. Their chemistry becomes impossible to ignore even during the lively musical battle.

Tension rises again when Tanya urges Krish to apologise to Disha and settle the matter peacefully. Krish refuses and accuses Disha of interfering unnecessarily in his personal affairs. Aryan steps in and points out that Krish’s behaviour is hurting Disha, but Krish dismisses him as well. He rudely tells Disha that if she has so much free time, she should focus on finding work instead of advising him.

Aryan Slaps Krish:

As emotions spiral out of control, Aryan loses his temper and slaps Krish in front of everyone. The entire family is left stunned by the shocking moment. Krish immediately attempts to retaliate, but Arman stops him and firmly demands that he apologise to Disha. While Sanjay supports Krish, Aryan openly criticises his behaviour, creating a major divide within the family.

In the upcoming episode, Kaveri asks Aryan to apologise to Krish for crossing the line. However, Arman insists that Krish must first accept his mistake for insulting Disha. He declares that if Krish had treated Abhira in the same manner, he would have reacted similarly. Abhira then shares her belief that violence should always remain the final option and can only be justified when both sides are equally involved in the conflict. Her statement leaves Arman stunned.
